Pros
Xora has an incredible and dedicated team. Xora has a big market opportunity, and the solution is just at the beginning to become mainstream.
Cons
You need to be able to roll up your sleves and work hard.
You should expect to contribute to the success of the company.
Advice to Senior Management
Think Big!
Pros
mobility market is hot and Xora has a good position it leveraging this market
Cons
weak sr sales management
ego's run the place
cheap, ha my laptop was so old that it doesnt even run Explore without crashing
Advice to Senior Management
hope the new CEO can fix this mess
Pros
You are given a large latitude of independence
Cons
Below average compensation
Disrespect for employees
Only concerned with exit strategy for top execs
Lack of real leadership (leading, coaching, strategic direction, etc...)
Engineering/Product focus vs. Sales or market focus
Frugal to a fault
Burnt Out senior management
Pros
You will get a paycheck and free snacks from Costco.
Cons
This company claims to be a start-up for almost a decade. The management team is a mess with no clear direction. If you are a minority or woman, you will not get far in this company, but if you are a male from India, then you are at the right place. The compensation is below market.
It is nearly impossible to get the right tools to perform your job. Constant infighting and bickering between departments make it impossible to get support to do your job.
Advice to Senior Management
Treat people with respect and give all employees an opportunity to grow. You don't look like or will ever be management material is not constructive criticism.
Pros
Buy snacks for the employees...
Cons
No praise when praise is due. Management does not back you when there are issues. Instead, they throw you under the bus..even when you are not the issue.
Advice to Senior Management
Stop. Look. and Listen. 90% of the employees at HQ are unhappy and are currently looking for a job elsewhere.
Pros
only if you are in sales and want easy sales by just running around around wireless carrier folks.
Cons
chance of growth limited, not appreciated much for your work, no place for innovation, cheap place overall
Advice to Senior Management
Sales team is not doing good with a product that is easier to sell. Probably need a different approach for sales with peope who can can make big sales using previous success and references (almost enterprise like sales team for bigger deals).
Pros
Opportunity to learn multiple skills in a short time. Opportunity to get your hands dirty doing different tasks and learn on the fly. Middle management and staff at Xora is very helpful and knowledgeable.
Cons
Textbook case of how not to manage people. Micromanagement is rampant. Senior management treats people as disposable commodities. Will never pay a fair compensation. The attitude is: 'You can always leave if you don't like it here'
Advice to Senior Management
Do not be paranoid about your workers. Treat people with dignity and pay a fair wage based on skill, experience and contributions.
Pros
There must be some but none for me.
Cons
No career advancement, unreasonable expectations, salary raise are less than sufficient to combat inflation, lack of proper software/tools, its like working in a factory. There have been mass employee departures with little to no replacement. Willing to hire incompetent labor for the cheaper price tag.

Advice to Senior Management
Unfortunately none, its truly beyond that.
