    Pros

Like the people, once you learn the job it's not bad, work life balance not the best but they do offer flex time.

    Cons

No raises. Bonuses are given instead

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to give raises and more flexible work life management

Empty promises. They talk about their "amazing culture" but no one walks the walk... Disappointing to say the least!

    Pros

Location... For me. This does not override the lack of support leadership receives and the horrible communication between all.

    Cons

Too many to list. The owners are never present and only run the company by fear. The Director level employees are all friends and favoritism is sadly present. The only way to promote is by becoming friends with a Director level or above. It is addressed but never resolved. They say promotions occur when people perform. Not the case... An AVP is running their Nash office into the ground and everyone talks so negatively about her but no action is ever taken. Yet she was promoted quickly and clearly not from performance. Sad that this company is failing in so many areas. So many are currently looking elsewhere before the ship sinks.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to your hourly people. Ask you managers their opinion and LISTEN! No one actually calls a spade, a spade. Create written do's and dont's. This company is not a small mom and pop anymore. Stop running it like it is...

I have been working at Xtend Healthcare full-time

    Pros

Dress is casual, pay is above average, easy to get promoted and additional training is offered to skilled employees upon request. CEO Tom is often seen walking the floors and knows many of his low level staff by first name.

    Cons

Communication is poor! Boring work inside of dull cubicle, days are long.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If something changes please don't forget to stop and tell the little people.

I worked at Xtend Healthcare full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Home office close to Nashville. I like Nashville

    Cons

Traveled for Xtend as Billing specialist. Asked to "touch" accounts not really worked but to have them in the inventory as touched to get a cut if the claim paid. Refused to do this and was therefore basically pushed out. Known policy and procedure problems left to fester untiltheir an uncontainable mess.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Restructure your management. Particulary your Project Managers. When I applied for the job I was unaware that the business ethic called for us to try and cheat the client out of money we didn't really earn.

I have been working at Xtend Healthcare full-time

    Pros

Relaxed work environment, no drive to Nashville

    Cons

No formal training for new employees on the floor in the job they are performing. Communication is poor between management and employees and between different management teams. You are just thrown to the wolves and expected to "dig and figure it out for yourself". People who are supposed to have answers talk in circles or are never at their desks or available

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Start a training program on the floor. Have a mentor with the answers sit with all new employees for at least a week every day so they have a real grasp of the project, including expectations and the systems. Send an employee to the project location to learn the system from the project and have that person teach all team members back at the SC how it needs to be done. Improve communication everywhere. From the top down and between teams
