    Pros

Once you're in a role you don't have to deal with Xtreme till your contact is up.

    Cons

Recruiting is worthless, give false hope and then ignores employees when they messed up and leave you with out a job.

    Advice to Management

Start watchinh your recruiting and take input from employees who have been screwed over and left with out job due to those lazy recruiters. I reached out to high up and just got more excuses and once my contract was up, I was left with nothing to go on and no job.

    Pros

You get great experience with Microsoft that you might not otherwise have

    Cons

BUT doesn't mean you will be easily transition to a role with Microsoft and lack of career development both in role and within Xtreme.

    Advice to Management

Get more people to help manage teams, the Xtreme Person I report to doesn't always reply and doesn't help try to career development for employee's looking for it

I have been working at Xtreme Consulting full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great Benefits- good starting pay- great starter job

    Cons

No advancement opportunities. No Reviews. They say they have career development but they don't when asked. Management is slow to respond always

    Advice to Management

Be more responsive and engaged with your employees. With Microsoft's new vendor policy try to ensure vendors get on the "exempt" list rather than making their managers do the work.

I have been working at Xtreme Consulting full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The job is great and hours are very flexbile. That also all depends on the contract and location of your position.

    Cons

PTO is Joelle and unless you're single the benefits are way too outrageous to have.

    Advice to Management

Recruiting is very slow and treats you like a # bit once you are an employment, the higher management is great and supportive.

There is one thing worse than working for them: being unemployed. Maybe.

I have been working at Xtreme Consulting full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

X-Treme Consulting outsources employees only to Microsoft. You have access to tons of Microsoft products training (video and presentations). You also have free soda. But not from X-Treme Consulting.

    Cons

No corporate culture, no performance evaluation, you are basically by yourself. The fact that outsourced employees can stay with Microsoft for 18 months only made things better for them and worse for employees, once if someone leaves it resets the clock for any outsourced position and it is just a matter to recruit a new person. During the time I worked fro them, I was invited to go to a picnic and to go to a place to have a picture taken with my "co-workers" to make me feel part of something. Employees receive a US$5 Starbucks card as a birthday gift.

    Advice to Management

Emails sent to the owner asking for help with my transition were not answered. Kind of clear they are happy the way they are and that they really don't care about their employees.

I have been working at Xtreme Consulting full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Xtreme provides a variety of contract opportunities with local companies.

    Cons

Not very good a placing candidates into new positions if they have come off a project.

    Advice to Management

Say what the company is, a stafffing company.

I have been working at Xtreme Consulting (More than a year)

    Pros

Employee representative is nice and visits the job site regularly to check in and ask how the employees are doing

    Cons

    - Company is unresponsive when employees voice their concerns. Laptop did not having the capacity to run data-heavy Excel reports, and Xtreme took months to address the issue. Computers are outdated and bulky compared to what other consulting companies provide. - Senior management was slow addressing changes in contracts with employees

    Advice to Management

Empower employee representatives to do more for employees. While my employee representative is very nice, she is unable to address most issues without having to loop in additional contacts who are not nearly as responsive as she is.
