I worked at Yahoo full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Work culture very good, no limitations for work. Can learn anything and do.

    Cons

Frequent Layoffs, communication gap between management and employee

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please pay proper attention to the reason why an employee is leaving, not every time they leave for higher salary. Few things you can stop just by listening to employee and address his concerns. If you dont have time to listen, employee doesnt feel to stay.

I have been working at Yahoo full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Yahoo! is one the best companies with respect to work culture and work - life balance. There are so many opportunities to innovate, so many challenging problems to work on. There is an active support from managers and upper management to help people innovate, hack and put forth their ideas. It has some of the most amazing people in its work force. There is an open culture where people can freely speak their mind.

    Cons

Losing Marketshare, constantly changing upper management.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Move ahead of the curve. Take some risks. Move into some new businesses which are entirely ad supported.
