    Pros

Growing company, good benefits, opportunities for advancement are available for motivated employees, casual and friendly work environment

    Cons

Rapid growth (though a great problem to have) can be challenging for employees. Pros absolutely outweigh the cons at Yardi.

    Pros

My location has a fantastic management staff. I see some complaints about management. Try working retail for a short while if you want to see bad management. We are treated with respect and our input matters. No weekends is fantastic. Always have things going on. Spring picnic, food drive during Christmas, have pot luck dinners, very family oriented. Have a bring your child to work day every year. Great co-workers who are always willing to help.

    Cons

Other than recent holiday cut backs no complaints.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep doing what you are doing. I look forward to coming to work every day.

    Pros

Senior management is focused on customers and employees. Agile development environment that is not afraid to tackle complex business problems. There is a pronounced preference for promoting from within. Energetic recruiting team does a good job of bringing quality people in to meet growth challenges.

    Cons

Rapid growth sometimes lead to back office processes playing catch up. There is a strong bias towards meeting market expectations and investing in systems that benefit customers directly.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't be reluctant to invest in people and systems to support internal processes.

Former Employee - Sales in Santa Barbara, CA

    Pros

    Great company culture, pay, benefits.

    Cons

Terrible onboarding experience. No formal training other than a few online elearning courses. Watched other reps sell for barely a week then placed in front of customers and told to sell. New products/upgrades rolled out with little training. Must be very proactive in searching for answers and digging through share drives and online files to find info. Careful not to inquire within tech team for answers or info as they are not to be distracted with questions from the sales team.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire corporate trainers to fully train and cultivate incoming employees. Elearning is a cold and sterile way to welcome a new team member. Create a mentoring program by pairing long term senior employees with new reps so that new employees have a safe outlet to ask questions for the first 30-60 days.

    Pros

Cannot think of any pros other than collecting a paycheck while looking for a good company to work hard for.

    Cons

Management runs in circles trying to please ownership and look busy. Most top management is based in Santa Barbara and are hypocritical hippies. The hippie part is cool but they all come off as if they are squeaky clean, which is far from the truth. Surprising this company has the revenue it does based on how it is run.

    Pros

Workload is lesser when there is no crisis.

    Cons

Micromanagement, more importance if you are closer to management team. It is important to be liked person than work. There is restriction to what you can wear if you work in this team. No progress in career.
