    Pros

    Time off you can take if you got it., I know this is pros but caint think of any.

    Cons

    There is no growth of any kind. Office culture is lets cut out all vendors and do everything in house, but lets dont buy any tools, lets dont provide training, learn on the fly, lets dont get qualified people, but people still learning there cheeper, so no one is teaching anyone.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Hire qualified people so they can teach the people new to the business. Just because you got a cool title and making a lot of money does'nt mean you cain't learn something,. you want to do everything in house so the manager can get a bonus ,but the maintenance is doing the work, they dont get anything. This could be a good company but be realistic and fair across the board.

    Pros

    YES has really great employees that care about their jobs and the company. Everyone works hard, but work/life balance is valued. Senior management invests a lot of time, money and effort into maintaining a positive culture that values things like teamwork and helping others (both inside and outside of the company). Senior management also has a lot of industry experience and knowledge. Benefits are good, especially the matching 401k. Home office is in a great location.

    Cons

    Growth by acquisition has caused the usual growing pains, although nothing that is unexpected or unmanageable. Some systems and processes need to change to support a larger company.

    Keep sharing information with employees, especially with regards to the strategic direction of the company and how everyone's effort contribute to that direction.

    Pros

    Take Care of the company and they will take care of you!
    Positive culture
    Really do care about employees, residents and customers
    Innovative, fun, new and evolving

    Cons

    A constant contest all the time. Never regular day to day business always some kind of push...keeps you on your toes though!!
    Only the strong will survive. You must be committed, enjoy learning, adapt to change and willing to always say yes!!

    Very Technology driven..always using the latest app....

    Cons

    Procedures are getting in the way of business....Micromanaged to the hilt....Many bosses with no backbone...Not in it for the long term.....Growing business fast so they can get on the stock market and sell off to the big boys...

    Don't rely too much on computer apps...your people are going to make the difference long term...
