I have been working at Yulista full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Friendly work force. 40 hour work week. Travel opportunities if that's what you want. If not for the senor leadership this would be a great place to work. Supports the soldier.

    Cons

Lays off loyal employees when contracted program they are working for runs out of funding instead of finding somewhere else for them in the company. Always focused on the bottom line. Keeps nasty rude unprofessional program managers as long as they are making money. Nepotism galore. Gave everyone a pay cut by rewriting leave policy and eliminating sick leave.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay more attention to the needs of your people.

I worked at Yulista full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

The position required very little training (scanning paperwork into a computer)

    Cons

It seemed as if they did not want me to stay, they were petty and brought so many things to my attention. They didn't allow me to be "trained" before pointing out every minor infraction that I did not make.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do not allow people to be harassed, on any level including new hires.

I worked at Yulista full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Some good people (all in lower ranks).

    Cons

Poor management, Company is not truthful with employees, too many layoffs, work not available due to poor contract managment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do what you say you are going to do. Stop layoffs (too many). Listen to workers complaints, stop the "cover you butt" attitude.

I have been working at Yulista full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

The company has a lot of talented employees that are driven.

    Cons

Poor managment, most are hired or promoted through the buddy system leaving the tier just below them left doing their work in addition to their own. Advancement is not possible unless you play your cards right and go way above and beyond your own job. Training is laughable, policies change every other day, excel is used for every spreadsheet instead of a database system.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Start by using a database system for purchasing, proposals, weekly/monthly/quarterly updates on projects. Make sure you have leaders that will do their part to help the people below them grow into great employees and stop putting bandades over wounds. This is why half the company is being laid off in December.

    Cons

Unorganized, Not a team effort (too much cover your own butt), Too much favoritism,

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Begin by checking with lower level employees from time to time, to see what they are going through. GET ORGANIZED. Hire people that do what they say they are going to do.
