    Pros

    1. High impact work leading to repeat businesses
    2. Amazing group of partners and engagement managers - really masters of their game
    3. Meritocracy based culture - people are invested in your growth unlike throwing you into an ocean hoping you could swim ashore

    Cons

    1. Need to be cut out for consulting - most employees are passenger vehicles in an industry that demands 12 hours per day everyday
    2. Pay is definitely not at par especially at the manager and above levels with other tier 1 consulting firms in India

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    1. Increase pay to management in India capability center to be at par with the McKs, BCGs --- we deal with them in our work, pitch proposals against them but draw lesser pay
    2. Stop listening to HR - this is a high pressure work place, keep the ethos in. No need to give into unneccessary people policies that attract those who are not cut out for consulting

People are amazingly friendly and nice. Most of the principals have their doors open and you can walk in and talk to them at any time.
Project work varies and project leaders will usually give you a lot of freedom to take on the project.

    Cons

The work may become mundane and repeat in some cases
Focused on Pharmaceuticals in some of the major offices but this varies depending on the location of the office

    Pros

Young workforce with a lot of energy and enthusiasm. Very good pace of learning. Great work culture with lots of upfront responsibility. Good growth opportunities within the company and good brand @ premier MBA programs like ISB in India.

    Cons

Intensity of work is high - may not be suitable for all. I have not worked at other places and so dont have much points of comparison. Folks who join from other firms seem to like the culture quite a bit and say it is different.

    Pros

Enjoyable work, thoughtful people. ZS's turnover rate is around 20% usually and people stay much longer at ZS than at other companies.

    Cons

Long hours, although people with the longest hours and the most involvement with offshore teams have much, much higher engagement than people who do less of that.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make manager a more appealing position. At the current pay, it is not worth it. People consistently leave right before or right after promotion to manager.

    Pros

Unstructured environment, lots of room for growth, close knit teams, most importantly - very sharp people, very approachable leadership and management support

    Cons

    Pros

The structure of the organization is non-hierarchical and the open door policy is actually practiced. Most of the colleagues are friendly and collaborative, I did not observe any sense of competition. The company pays a lot of attention to your learning and development. Free food and recreation room make the workplace fun.

    Cons

The working hours and engagement levels are sometimes very inconsistent. Although there is a variety of divisions and fields, you get stuck in the sector you are first staffed to and it is difficult to switch later as you begin to develop expertise.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The first staffing should be finalized in a meeting with the employee so that his interests and passions are addressed.
