Pros – Zacks is a very specialized firm that caters to a very specific client base. I like the fact that the position is very challenging and that I work with very bright people. Working for a small company means that everyone's role is important and that we are nimble enough to change quickly to serve our clients.

Cons – Since we are expanding our growing pains are sometimes felt in that we cannot offer everything we would like to.

Advice to Senior Management – Stay open to being client driven. Our services should serve them not the other way around. For the most part we deliver what what we promise, we need to continue to execute effectively.

Pros – Pros- If you work hard and produce you can make a very good living. Senior management is very clear on what is expected of you and gives you the tools to achieve success. The ability to travel and present an ever changing product to the brightest men and women in the investment world.

Cons – Cons- There seems to be a lot of dead weight employees (as there is in every company) that can bring down morale in the office.

Pros – Very much flexible working hours and a friendly atmosphere at the office. incidents such as bossism or employee harassment is just nil.

Cons – Salary increment is a major problem. The hike if ever comes, comes very late. Promotions also do not happen fast.

Pros – Its working strategy, the employees are too good.

Cons – More concentration in administration required.

Pros – Good training ground for an entry analyst, while still in undergrad
Many opportunities to apply academic skills and test in real life experiences
Also, would not take this as a full time job unless you are really into researching
I am looking to be a trader, and it's great to pick up on some research skills, they offer many products for institutional investors

Cons – Not as open communication as desirable, between different sectors and framing a big picture of the market, even if on a weekly basis

Advice to Senior Management – Connect all different sectors and synthesize info from each sector
Management can also be more helpful in terms of framework of researching
First couple of weeks could have been a lot easier in transitioning if a basic framework was recommended

Pros – Friendly atmosphere, better understanding of Excel

Cons – Work Politics, People there are very much partial some times

Cons – limited growth opportunities, salary structure overall is not up to the mark as per current market scenario, minimal market exposure

Advice to Senior Management – salary structure overall is not up to the mark as per current market scenario and should be uplifted to make job profiles more attractive to the existing employees.

Pros – friendly place to work at mos of the times. it's a good combination of corporate(mid sized company) and family business (privately owned).

Cons – the management doesn't treat you with respect unless they are your peers or above their level. they are very cheap. i heard that one time, before i joined, the admin team came by each station/desk and collected all the post its not being used.

Advice to Senior Management – stop treating your subordinates like pawns and bring more respect to the table. show more concern about who work for you.

Pros – Flexibility with time off and understanding of peoples situations in life. Great people to work with and network with. T

Cons – VERY hard if at all possible to move up. They told me that during the interview and they meant it.
