    I worked at Zain

    Pros

They don't take the training job seriously and they don't even know if you show up or not except on your first and last days

    Cons

You should take more responsibilities toward the training and put more efforts in it and it won't hurt if you added more recourses

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Designate a team in each floor for training

    Cons

Nothing much! my experience was as a part timer at call center long time ago. all was good, however they should pay more and motivate their staff by considering them part of the organization

I have been working at Zain

    Pros

Extensive experience in all round divisions of the market.
Recognized brans name allowing you to upgrade your career easily on promotional basis.

    Cons

Non-clear promotional process for expats, as most delecate positions are usually only given to citizenship owners, and that usually ends up in high resignation margins.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Kuwaitization will pull this corporation downwards, watch out.

Commercial division s dont have capable employees, strategy office is not that good.
Employement promotion is not that easy.mangerial level only for kuwaiti.

I worked at Zain full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Not high competition. If you do just your job, it will be more than enough so the competition is not so high which will give us advantage to get promoted soon.

    Cons

Worst thing I found about it is two things: The top management seems to be careless about the company but not sure after the new CEO, Gabbani. The second thing is people are very relaxing and a lot of the guys just don't want to do their job.

I have been working at Zain full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Zain Jordan is progressive organization with a lot of focus on the technology so as an engineer you will gain a very good experience, also Zain has a world class benefits package which include (not limited to) world wide first class insurance, entertainment allowance, bonus, good rewarding system, etc...

    Cons

Salary benchmarking is not a good practice, there should be a new better program in order to avoid losing employees just for salary purposes.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Better engage the employees in the company strategy.

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
  10.

I worked at Zain full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

    Dynamic working environment.
    Good team work.
    Relatively technologically advanced company

    Cons

Discrimination is blatantly practiced. Kuwaitis get better salaries and get promoted despite many of them being incompetent. Good people, if they are foreigners, get ignored and spend many years in the same role. Management in Zain Kuwait is well below par. Many of them would not make it to clerical jobs in more competitive environments.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Instill a culture of meritocracy, where the most capable people get rewarded and promoted.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

    Cons

very bureaucratic and each department is controlled by a group of people and politics who dictates who get promoted or hired.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
