I have been working at Zaxby's part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Learn to work as a team. Have to learn how lead and Follow. Must be willing to cooperate and allow the store function with your team's help.

    Cons

Can become overhelming and irritating sure to the rushes and complaining customers who just want free food. Just have to be patient and slow to anger.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Allow for more flexibility in innovation and creativity from the workers.

I have been working at Zaxby's part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Great company to work for, had a great loving team. Really got to make my own schedule so that was always a plus. Will always have a job with Zaxbys.

    Cons

The pay was not so great, i was only making around $9 bucks an hour. There is little room for improvement hopefully this gets better for employees in the long run.

I worked at Zaxby's part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Formed some of the best friendships
    Flexibility with college schedule

    Cons

Too much to do when closing
No breaks except a 30 min one when working at 12+hour shift
The time you get off at night depends on the crew members that you are working with during a specific shift
No potential to move up, I worked there for over a year and did more than what was asked of me and I never received a raise. Every time I asked for one my manager changed subjects or said "I will one day"
Schedule was also never finished on time, we had to call or come up to the store to find out our schedule.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Positive reinforcement, don't be so harsh on loyal, hardworking employees

I have been working at Zaxby's

The discount is everything . The management is so interactive. Flexible scheduling.

    Cons

Long wait to actually be a cashier . I was in dining room for a month before I actually became a cashier

I worked at Zaxby's full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

The training was easy, you get put on the schedule immediately, and your job is easy.

    Cons

Dealing with bad management, dealing with rude customers, and having to have under 29 hours a week

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Motivate your team members, don't yell at your drive-thru cashiers when they are not the problem; your kitchen staff is.

I have been working at Zaxby's part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

50 percent off on food but only when you work if you don't work that day its 25%
    there are some enjoyable employees

    Cons

Management can be rude some not alll
you are over worked little pay
    they dock or change hours
30 minute breaks if you work 5 or more hours
Under staffed busy days and over staffed when slow
    rude kitchen staff
almost everyone has some anger issue
stressful I would not recommend as a job not even a first
It really is a draining job
I know people who have worked for 4+ years and just got a 25 cent raise from $7.25 to $7.50 WOW
    General manager is the worst
schedule changes in the middle of the week
cant make more than 30 hours a week....... ObamaCare

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you stop worrying about just making money and keeping drive time at a minimum and take in consideration of your employees without the attitude and raised pay it wouldn't be as bad dealing with rude customers or coming to work like raise pay to at least $10 we do to much for so little pay
