Sathya “Sam” Rangaswamy
Current Employee – been working at ZeOmega full-time for more than a year
Pros – Limited work pressure. Good teams. Great development managers. Work is getting better. Processes are getting better.
Cons – Mediocrity is more. Lack of automation in most things. Lack of technical meetups inside the company. Fully client schedules driven.
Advice to Senior Management – Cut down meetings time. Fully agenda driven. Invest more on tools. Not on cheap labour.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Current Employee – been working at ZeOmega
Pros – Product offering which meets the market needs. Jobs for unqualified Indians on work visas. Jobs for unemployed Americans in a down economy.
Cons – Owners / senior management are cheap, penny pinching, paranoid, controlling micro managers. A product marketed and sold as the ultimate in flexibility and configurability is really a one off maintained by separate code base per customer. Poor employee relations with high turnover, crappy compensation and benefits and an unqualified and disrespectful management team. Customers are unhappy due to troubled implementations, additional fees, poor communications and cannot be used as references.
Advice to Senior Management – Step aside, delegate, show leadership qualities, invest in human capital and show some respect, stop blaming your customers for your shortcomings, behave like a normal company, focus on your customers, improve both internal and external communications.

Current Employee – been working at ZeOmega full-time for more than a year
Pros – Good place if you are inexperienced as you can learn unless you don't speak out.
Cons – ZeOmega TOP Management is very insecure and has no idea on how to talk to there subordinates. You will loose any self respect you have after the initial months. If you work for the IT team this will be X 10, you will be told that you carry no value with zero respect . IT team is treated very badly for all there support handwork and weekends they put aside. Unfortunately the thinking is I can get 10 like you anytime.. Also you should not be opinionated or you will suffer.
Advice to Senior Management – Top management needs to be trained on dealing with there team. IT support is what keeps your business going though its not revenue generating, it always needs core people to feel valued and respected. Not agreeing is different and threatening or using your position to scare somebody will not go long way. Change or Perish.

Former Employee – worked at ZeOmega full-time for more than a year
Pros – learning place for freshers and less experienced
Cons – The management needs to talk out problems with people.not scare
them by there position. i can get a different job right. If you
keep them happy, call them sir sir things are fine, or you are
in trouble.
the person commented true that threat is common. I am an
ex-employee and I am sad to say that i was never happy working
here. Its a very good place as i got many good friends here. r&d
is also good. i will like to work here again if higher managements
leading IT,DB change there way of interacting with team and give
them respect.
Advice to Senior Management – respect employee for there hardwork

Current Employee – been working at ZeOmega
Pros – Zeomega is place to learn. You would have an opportunity to grow in your skills as one developer may work on everything. Exposure is very high. CEO is extremely passionate and has a very good foresight .
Cons – Top management is very poor and has no value for employees. Employees are openly threatened, shouted on in front of peers and so on. The HR is also extremely poor as it reports to the IT head and is not separate. You cannot expect or complain issues as it is governed and controlled and will not get addressed.
Advice to Senior Management – Get a HEAD HR which functions cannot be influenced by other operations and employees can freely come and address there problems. Circulate a Employee Satisfaction Survey which is anonymous so they can let there issues told without being scapegoat. One level up issue address, where a employee can write to CEO.

Former Employee – worked at ZeOmega
Pros – Small teams, you end up doing a lot and learn a lot on the job.
Laid back environment.
Good employees are valued. People with family pressures should find it suitable.
If you are interested in a particular project, you just need to ask and they will help you get where you want to be.
Cons – This is not a fancy MNC like infosys or Cognizant. You will find yourself working with peers of all levels of intellect and not all come in trained and professional. Some of them are first generation immmigrants from rural areas with poor communication skills. If you are the kind of person who is looking for a "sohisticate cosmopolitan" crowd, you will not fit in here. Personally I did not care about it, I liked the down-to-earth crowd.
You need to be lucky to be working on the star projects (that bring home the bacon)or you may just be drifting along from one project to another without feedback and not really building your career (in the process damaging your future prospects). Your supervisor determines your progress in the company.
Advice to Senior Management – None
