challenging, teamwork experience, No. 1 Bank in Nigeria based on market capitalisation, finance career development, the professionalism and you will have so many people to mentor you
Cons
sixty percent of staff stay in the same job role for at least five years. Job promotion is slow. Promotion is based on income level rather than operational level. If you are a support staff it will be difficult to appraise you because you do not have any income parameters attached to you
Advice to Senior Management
Listen to employees. Take feed back from employees. Avoid scaring employees with downsizing information all the time. Conduct more professional teaming and extracurricular activities for employees.
Pros
Zenith bank is a good corporate bank to work with.They offer numerous professional trainings that make you outstanding among your peers in the banking industry.The working environment is superb with the emphasis on excellent customer services.With the experience from working with the bank,one would be able to open and run his/her own business following all the trainings being offered to you.Its a wonderful place to work.
Cons
Long hours at work without any payment for overtime.It does not balance work and family life.
The management should make the weekend for the staff to attend to their personal issues rather than making it unbearable for staff with excessive trainings that can be done weekdays.
Staff do not receive all that is stipulated out in their employment package.
Advice to Senior Management
Trainings can be scheduled week days instead of weekends in other to balance work and family life,the idea to cut cost should not override the welfare of staf who are the main ingredient of the company.
Its been long staff were promoted in the bank

try to work on your rate of aprovals and also realize that we all need to have lives outside work
