    Pros

    -Great benefits (e.g. 1/2 day Fridays in Summer, casual work environment, regular outings, snacks, beer, etc.)
    -Solid management team
    -A variety of different client verticals
    -Awesome culture
    -Proactively seek out and address employee concerns

    Cons

    -Processes and training aren't very standardized yet
    -Tenure tends to be valued over ability
    -Team structure changes a lot

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Focus more on employee development and promote people based on skill and talent rather than tenure. Make a better effort to use people to the best of their ability and pushing them to succeed, while offering peripheral benefits, such as more time off for more work done, etc.

    I have been working at Zeon Solutions full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

    1) CEO has big visions and long term goals
    2) Company is growing and every year there is a new achievement and targets that are being achieved
    3) Sales & Marketing team is brilliant and do lot of efforts to bring more projects and revenue
    4) Average Salary
    5) Working environment is good
    6) Efforts are made to make the work and social life balanced
    7) Fridays are half day work from home so as to have more time with family

    Cons

    1) Management team are not professional managers, they have become managers just due to their years of experience, which is not promising.
    2) Managers do not have innovation and ideas to manage the projects and resources, they don't have dynamic plans, do every thing as per situation, which in software term is a patch work
    3) Due to improper management the role / responsibilities are not defined and which in turn creates the unbalanced work and life balance
    4) Training are not provided even when managers are aware of the weak areas of their team members

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    1) Revenue planning should be done but at the same time the source from which the revenue is earned should be maintained, the growth opportunities should be provided to the resources, talent acquisition is required at every level.
    2) Project assignment and allocation should not be done depending on the available bandwidth of the resource but it should also consider the capabilities of the resource and learning curve
    3) Managers should have training plans as they are aware of the weak areas of their team members as they do the assessments each year.
    4) Managers should go through the management training to gain new ideas and ways to handle the growing organisation.

    Pros

    - Nice co-workers
    - Good attempts by HR to keep employees happy
    - Cool area of Milwaukee to be in

    Cons

    - Lacks the efficient process that the industry has developed as a standard over the last 6-8 years
    - Company tries to save money at every corner, which in turn also affects employee salaries
    - Has a "dual-shore model" which really means "saving money by outsourcing to India"
    - Because developers are on the other side of the world (literally), it is often hard to communicate effectively

    - Learn where, why and how your negative returns are coming from instead of just accepting them

    Pros

    Zeon Solutions is one of the top companies in Milwaukee in the IT industry. It is has a great work environment, with challenging and rewarding work.

    Cons

    Not too many things to say about cons other than the work week can be a little more than a 40 hours, depending on what area of the company you work in.

    Pros

    Free fruit, soda, and beer. Good company culture with a lot of activities.

    Cons

    Internal company communication needs improvement. Senior management is good, however, middle management is alright. There is way too much emphasis on company bonuses versus other things when it comes to company performance incentives. People want to work for a company that stands for something, if your emphasis is only bonuses, what does that tell you about the company?

    Not all people are motivated by money and money only. Salaries should be more due to the effort and work performance expected.

    Pros

    Zeon Solutions is a rapidly growing and dynamic company that relies on employees for innovation and execution. New and young employees are given the ability to contribute early and often, and receive guidance and training from the management team themselves. Employee development and growth is a key focus. The company culture is great - fun people, free snacks and beverages, Wii/Dartboard, regular company socials and events.

    Working in an ever-changing and fast paced environment can be difficult at times.

    Pros

    Customer focused company. Technically and financially sound. Focused on continual improvement and starting to add many HQ based resources and to focus more on PMO.

    Cons

    Project management has only started to get big $$ resource attention in the last 12 months. Tools, process and people are improving quickly.

    Keep investing in HQ based business analysts, solution architects, PMs, and thought leaders.

    Zeon is going in the right direction. One thing I recommend is working on the work/life balance. This place is ideal for young professionals looking to work their butt off in exchange for career growth, leadership opportunities, mentorship, travel and handsome compensation. For those with growing families, there is much more of a work/life struggle.

    I worked at Zeon Solutions full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Fair Salary, good co-workers, a very nice facility, Company paid parking, beer and alcoholic beverages on-site.

    Cons

    Management team is young and is more worried about making money that caring about employees work.life balance. Very high turnover. A lot of favoritism is shown to one or two employees. Minimal to no growth opportunities. Health insurance is poor with a high deductible and low employer contribution.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Your employees are your business and need to be happy. Treat them like they have a life outside of Zeon. Listen to employee concerns and act on them.
