I have been working at Zeta Interactive full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The company is scrappy and is able to shift to meet the client need. Very strong people on the execution side of the business that are looking to exceed expectations for customers. Execution team based in India is very detail oriented and one of the stronger selling points of the organization.

    Cons

Solutions for clients tend to be custom development work as core technology is flexible to meet specific needs. This is a pro and a con as it makes it more difficult to maintain consistency with upgrades.

The working conditions in the NYC office were rough. Very little space for employees and restroom areas were consistently closed for repair forcing employees to travel to different floors and at times different company offices to utilize the facilities.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make a larger investment into internal infrastructure and you'll acquire stronger talent.

    Pros

You get to leave at the end of the day.

    Cons

Management's lack of respect for employees. Health benefits getting worse and worse by the day.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There are some good people at the company, try and respect them regardless of whether they are "senior management" and/or "butt kisser"s.

    Pros

Great people, very dedicated and team culture.

    Cons

A few people out to prove they are big shots and do not know the product. Upper management listening to advice from people who do not know the industry and making decisions based on the advice.

    I worked at Zeta Interactive

    Pros

Zeta offered a wide variety of services and had several subject matter experts on the ground. Account people knew what they were doing.

    Cons

Upper management and the CEO were horrible. I would never recommend Zeta as a great place to work. I couldn't wait to get out of there.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay more attention to your employees. Stop outsourcing the work that should be done by competent, English as a first language, people.

I have been working at Zeta Interactive

    Pros

Good pay, good benefits, some really great clients. Work environment is laid back and can be pretty fun at times.

    Cons

If you work here, a great deal of your time will be spent struggling to fix problems the company creates for itself by using unskilled labor for highly skilled tasks. The business strategy of the company is based around outsourcing much of the work to unskilled workers in India. Management doesn't seem to grasp that these people are not skilled in analysis, strategic thinking, or project management, yet structures the workload in such a way that everyone is required to depend upon them for it. This has resulted and continues to result in the US workers either doing double the work, or submitting the incomplete and shoddy work the India team provides.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You get what you pay for. Hire competent and skilled workers to work on complex projects like software development and data analysis, and stop assuming that this is something which can be bought for cheap.
