I have been working at Zoetis full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There are still good employees left but motivation is fast dwindling.

    Cons

The endgame is not really clear and there does not seem to be much of a strategy beyond reacting to market conditions.

    Advice to Management

It would really help to improve communication to colleagues. The endgame is not really clear and there does not seem to be much of a strategy beyond reacting to market conditions.

    I worked at Zoetis full-time

    Pros

Good pay, benefits and global reach

    Cons

With an activist investor in control the company has major cost cutting efforts underway as has been reported in the media. Consequently there is a lack of job security and anxiety throughout the company. Budgets are being cut across the board and those remaining will have to do more with fewer resources. After a year or two it will be a much more pleasant place to work.

    Advice to Management

Don't focus solely on the short-term/manage to Wall street.

I worked at Zoetis (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Good benefits. Many wonderful colleagues.

    Cons

All politics. Unethical management decisions. No loyalty or appreciation for hard working employees.

    Advice to Management

Monitor salaried employees time. This represents a huge loss for the company in many roles. Place more ethical, honest, competent persons in management roles. Disallow mean-spirited behaviors just because the person has worked there a long time or performs job well.

I have been working at Zoetis full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Innovative and quality products. Long history in animal health. Good work-life balance.

    Cons

Zoetis Next 2.0 restructuring is disorganized and destructive to Zoetis customers and colleagues. Current Executives lack experience, respect for colleagues, and are out of touch from customers and reality.

    Advice to Management

Stop consultants from running the company. Executives should take accountability for letting the organization get too big which resulted in 25% reduction. Could not fix supply situation for more than 2 years.

I have been working at Zoetis full-time

    Pros

Good pay, average benefits. The technicians and other workers bees are the ones who make the trains run on time and they are some of the finest I've ever worked with anywhere.

    Cons

Zoetis is an ungrateful, soul sucking company that doesn't give a crap about any employee and will outright lie to anyone to get what they want. They will use, abuse, and mistreat you all the while senior management is oblivious of the goings on at the site level. If you want to get ahead you are going to have to do it yourself with little to no assistance from those who should be on your side. It's downright toxic and all the managers know it but don't really care about changing things, only getting people to stop talking about the bad parts.

    Advice to Management

Take out the trash. Realize that toxic managers who are hostile to even the colleagues who they are supposed to be managing aren't worth keeping and the company can survive without them. Stop promoting emotional wrecks who aren't even fit to sweep the floors. Dump the coward CEO who is just a puppet for the board and hire a leader.

I have been working at Zoetis full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great co-workers. Know for quality products that generate steady income. Excellent benefits if they last and trimmed as cost cutting initiative.

    Cons

Going through 25% reduction in force currently that has everyone scared and distracted. Budget cuts are making it impossible to do anything.

    Advice to Management

Morale is down. Leadership must make some quick decisions with the transition and treat everyone with respect.
