Pros – Working here you will in fact learn all aspects of the company. No matter if you are in the sales department or the service department, the machines will become a part of you. With numerous offices in CA you are able to explore the personality of each area. Communication within each office is great, no one fears asking questions and the customers are treated with respect and as people not as income. You don't only learn with this company but you have the oppertunity to create friendships both inside and outside of this company.
Cons – If you aren't willing to learn and get your feet wet, you won't move to the next level in this company as it goes with any company.
Advice to Senior Management – Don't treat each department as a different company but make one department's problem everyone's problem and don't allow one problem to become ten problems.

Pros – This is a very reputable company. Across the board, they do what they say they are going to do. All of the people take great pride in their jobs and the company they work for. The employees are given a great deal of autonomy to complete their job properly, so there is very little, if any, turnover of staff. The people are very helpful and the training is the best I have experienced. It is a very nice work enviroment.
All of the managers manage departments and also work within the department, so they are very in touch with changes that are necessary within the company. Things don't get bogged down because of lack of knowledge of the real world. They manage and work in the real world. I have found this to be a very refreshing aspect of this company.
The wages and benefits are very competive, although certainly more raises would be good.
Cons – It would be nice if they had a pension program. Although they do have an aggressive 401k program, a pension program would be great.
Advice to Senior Management – All in all, the management throughout Zoom is extremely tenured and knowledgeable. I think they should continue to listen to employee feedback and customer feedback to continue to get even better.

Pros – Decent amount of freedom to spend your workday as you see fit. You don't need to clock in. The service department is probably the best in town.
Cons – Training is joke. I am surprised as copiers are fairly complex these days. Management is a joke. They are full-time sales people so they have zero time to train you. I think they hire people hoping that one day they will just find a superstar by the sheer number of sales people they go through. If you did have any sales ability, why would you work here? They pay is low and the product is one of the most expensive when compared to other copiers of similar quality. Management will take half of all your commissions in exchange for "spending time with you". This is a scam. They will not train you but they will indeed take half of your deals. Things are fairly desperate at this company, and you can feel it. Nobody wants to be there. Example: a twenty minute meeting about using less office supplies, followed by an hour meeting about how we are wasting company time. You will never feel appreciated here. Don't look to make many friends here. They sales people will steal deals from each other. And then management will steal the deal from them! Run from this place.
Advice to Senior Management – Hire a full-time manager rather than trying to be both a manager and sales person. It does not work. Your business operation and business model are about twenty years out of date.
