Pros
Good people, nice environment, interesting stuff to work on
Cons
Never had long term plan, always work on "current" issue, constant interrupts.
Advice to Senior Management
You need to take a risk and invest in order to win
Pros
Free drinks everyday. Free donuts week, Free birthday cake every month.
Easy to commute, many smart and hardworking people.
Flexible hours. Some come to work at 6am and some work until 10pm.
Cons
Zoran was not in the right decision in the past few years. It is now part of CSR.
It is a little stressful near product release.
Advice to Senior Management
Invest in the right area and make the company profitable.
After acquisition by CSR, DTV and some lost-making business were cut.
This is painful but necessary.

Zoran is a not profitable companies for several years and finally doomed in 2011.

Resources are limited, burn out very quickly, appreciation of workers perfunctorily, over commitment, needs to get out of start up mode, needs to upgrade program management

Objectives can be set high but management also needs to recognize and assign appropriate resources to do a good job. Resources stretched too thin and weary, innovation and creativity suffers.

start up atmosphere with good information sharing. people are given a lot of latitude in their work as long as objectives are met.

Resourcing is very limited resulting in people working very long hours which people gladly do but project satisfaction is not achieved a lot of times due to delays also caused by the same.

Project planning, and resourcing of projects can be improved to make not just customers happy but also employees happy which will result even better timely products.

Upper management is very biased towards Isreal site. No consideration for good work, but only beating for bad work. Marketing has no vision of product cycle and unrealistic schedule.
