I worked at Zoup! part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Great concept, great food, pretty easy work if you're looking for a second job or part time work while in school. Quick paced job for hard workers.

    Cons

It's a franchise, so each store is independently owned. A lot of your experience can rest on the individual owners. That and I hate having to yell "Hot Soup!" all the darn time. Kind of embarrassing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Better training program, I felt like I was kind of thrown into positions I wasn't properly trained for.

    Pros

Great coworkers, free food very flexible in scheduling. it would be good for a young person to work there as a first job.
learned how to make some tasty food. learned not to trust anyone!

    Cons

as a company they have great standards and processes but being a franchise the owners cut corners and don't follow proper procedures and do not have team members properly trained.

    Pros

The company really strives to have the best food and customer interactions possible. They are encouraged to push their employees to do be the best they can be.

    Cons

Their scheduling is not the most fair, giving their part time employees very little hours. As with all jobs, it is not for everyone, in this case if you do not wish to spell like soup.

    I worked at Zoup! part-time

    Pros

Hours are reasonable, pay is decent, easy to stay busy and not be bored, and you get to partake in the food!

    Cons

I don't see a lot of opportunity for career growth, but I think that's to be somewhat expected in a restaurant chain.

    Pros

Awesome managers, great crew, fast paced, flexible and very friendly

    Cons

Pay is not great. Good job for a student but not for a career unless you decide to become the owner. The awesome thing is that the owners don't hold you back if a better opportunity comes your way.

    Pros

So many awesome career opportunities for anyone and everyone. If your willing to work hard, their willing to work hard to make you succeed. Great people, great food and great work rythem. I plan to stay with this company if not until retirement, for a very long while.

    Cons

Iv encountered some people taking advantage of the company because its so laid back. But no cons with the company itself.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There should be some kind of customer loyalty card all year round. Example: ten visits you gets a free meal under $10 i feel this will attract people to keep coming back.
