You can wear whatever you want
You get paid to get shoes, fold clothes, and hang out with customers

    ConsPressure to sell
On-call shifts... They make you call in at 5PM and if they need you to come in, you have to.

    Fun job, sometimes stressful environment

Sales Associate (Former Employee) Fort Worth, TX

ProsThe employees who worked there were pretty young so it was a fun job for the most part. There is no dress code so you are free to wear whatever you want. Employees get a pretty good discount on merchandise.

ConsDue to the commission based role, there would be disputes over who should get the sale on a number of occasions. As with any other commission based jobs, this can lead to tension in the workplace from time to time.

Advice to Senior ManagementGet rid of the commission, switch to a higher hourly wage. This will lead to less tension between coworkers.

Fun environment, but they will slave you

Second Assistant Manager (Former Employee) Concord, CA

    Pros- great atmosphere
    - everyone is friendly
    - much room for advancement; company is rapidly increasing
    - not really nightmare bosses, District/ regional manager drop by- they're awesome
    - great demographics in terms of customer clientel
    - trips to other cities for conferences/ events
    - great discount

Cons- you will be a corporate slave
    - employees usually free ride because of the laid back atmosphere
    - if you don't make your sales goals you will not get many hours
    - double check pay-stubs, negligence can leave you a couple hours less than what you worked
    - when it is busy, you will be asked to not take breaks

Advice to Senior Management- we work hard, pay us a bit more
    - on-call shifts suck
    - WE ARE LEGALLY ENTITLED TO BREAKS

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
