    Pros

Good daily work environment, with nice office space. Employees are generally supportive of each other.

    Cons

Corporate "culture" is very sales and production goals oriented. This tends to add a higher stress level to everyone's working efforts. Failure to meet or exceed goals has a direct impact on salary increases and bonus pay-outs.

    Advice to Management

Recognize employee contributions outside of sales quotas, especially since employees have no direct input or influence over sales goals. (Sales goals are passed down from corporate.)

I have been working at Zurich North America full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The pay and benefits are good, Company provides a lot of community investment opportunities to volunteer outside of the office

    Cons

Overworked, minimal training, expected to know how to handle 5 different lines of business properly within a few days of starting work

    Advice to Management

There needs to be more hands on training, Shadowing a manager for two days and then being thrown into the work with the same expectations of a person who has been there for years is unrealistc

    Pros

Was challenged in the role that I had started in the company at, and able to make changes where needed to get the work done more effectively.

    Cons

When good in one area, it was hard to move out of that area into another more challenging role.

    Advice to Management

Let people move to another area within the company, in order to feel engaged and valued as an integral employee.
