    Pros

Lots of opportunity if you want it Cool cutting edge tech Meritocracy Great benefits (health care, gym, perks, food, parties) Celebratory Rocket ship Successful Great people Take really good care of employees Lots of promotions if you work hard and show results

    Cons

It's still a start-up, so work hours can be long It's not google or microsoft where it's all figured out Some of the same people get rewarded a lot

    Advice to Management

it's been better since you hired HR people; help people learn to ask for vacation and rest; try to realize that you don't have to hire so many people to do the same work

    Pros

No1 company in Social gaming which has a huge potential Great package(salary, bonus, stock) Cool cutting edge tech Great benefits (delicious food, party, massage) Zynga is definitely one of the most successful in following 10 years It is the right place for the person who works hard and productive.

    Cons

long hours of work, but it's the same for every start-up company Many Micromanagement Zynga is very ambitious, that's very correct, but it should have a clearer objective and strategy Have a clear company culture, this is very important for the company in future

    Advice to Management

Reduce the micromanagement in company. Make a clearer vacation policy, every one needs break for some time. Reward policy also needs to be refined.

    Pros

Medical/Dental/Vision for employee 100% paid (very affordable to add spouse and dependents) Free lunch and snacks Choice of Mac OS or Windows laptop Latest/greatest technology Ergonomics evals available for every employee Commuter 1:1 benefit Gym membership Casual dress code Dog friendly work place Work hard, play hard! Great co-workers Team mentality Encouraged to take personal ownership of your job & your contribution to the team.

    Cons

Working long hours, weekends, after hours, etc. is the norm. Would like more frequent communication from management about launch dates, long and short term goals for our studio, space planning, career advancement, etc.

    Advice to Management

It would be nice if upper management, facilities, HR, IT, etc. had a better sense of what goes on at the off-site locations, and by that, I mean VISIT our site instead of doing everything remotely. Additionally, an ocasional visit from C-Staff would be great. Even if only for a 1/2 hour just to say "Hi!" when they are in town for other business.

    Pros

Opportunity to affect culture, and your friends & family every day. The scale we build for is incredible. Where else do 50 M people play every day on what you build? Responsibility & accountability is everywhere - if you want it, you can have it. Opportunity to build on a world stage and do things that haven't been done before - every day. Insanely awesome perks - gym, incredible food, dogs everywhere, mobile culture, happy hours, quarterly meetings. Plenty of access to top management. You're not building your resume - you just want to be a part of something unique and meaningful. You like solving problems and doing something that's never been done before. You're comfortable defining and disrupting industries not walking in other brand's footsteps. You like to move fast and see results quickly.

    Cons

Start-ups are for people that like accountability and responsibility. We have a high bar, a lot is expected of people at every level - you have to be comfortable with working hard and showing results often. Zynga moves really really fast. We have to stay ahead of what consumers want and where the market is going, we don't have time to do something next week or next month. Because we're doing something different, hours aren't always predictable. Prioritization can be tough - you can't get to everything so you have to chop out what doesn't matter. People need to see what something was a good idea, be ready to show metrics-driven results after you accomplish something. This is not a laid back, in-house job.

    Pros

If you can think it, you can do it at Zynga. It's fast-paced and fun. There are loads of perks, including free health care and a generous vacation policy (no policy - take time when you need it). Easy access to top management even with 3,000 employees. It's open and flexible here. You can do your best work at Zynga.

    Cons

The environment encourages achievement and hard work -- bettering your best. It's not for everyone. Those not prepared for this, could be challenged.

    Advice to Management

Keep the open and honest format and feedback.

    Pros

Career growth- you will learn a lot as you are pushed outside of your comfort zone. You will work with some of the brightest people in the game and internet industries. You will be surrounded by entrepreneurs. Great perks and the hours are no longer unreasonable. 8-10 hours is average on most teams in most roles except the <10% who are crunching for a game release for a month or so. The food is fantastic and the new office is great.

    Cons

It's hard work so it's not for everyone. Some teams have better managers than others. Company strategy could be communicated better. You will stick out and be pushed out if you are a low performer.

    Advice to Management

More regular communication of company strategy. I have faith in the leadership every level of the company is not as informed as they could be.
