    I worked at adidas Group

    Pros

    The discount is great!

starting pay is not minimum, not too bad.

Shine training is rarely used but good information to learn taking on another job!

    Cons

    Horrible pay raises!

Bonuses based on companies performance, not store!

Sales Assoc weekly hours ranged from 4-12 hour per week some period of times!

Corporate was very rude to associates during walk through!

Management team discriminates and makes racial jokes amongst eachother!

Horrible area manager! when she walked into a building the place became tense and chaotic, sales associates paced around as if they were on drugs!

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE WORK FOR ADIDAS COMPANY UNLESS IM CORPORATE WORLD!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your associates as if they bring profit to the store and not just a body to fill when you need things done.

Hire management teams that actually have experience for the position.

If you expect brand pride you should deliver better quality apparel. designs are inconsistent and trash.

Don't make racist comments or racist jokes. (Management still under company/transferred stores)

Be professional in all ways of your job.

    Pros

The discount and bonuses are always great. Coworkers turn into a family. Their scheduling is flexible and most importantly its a fun and friendly environment.

    Cons

The pay should be better, products could be better, the company itself is late with what's actually selling. WE CAN'T WEAR ORIGINALS TO WORK.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The company needs to be more open minded when it comes to products and customer needs. For example, the shoe cleaners look exactly like the ones from Footlocker, Champs, ect. Why not make a shoe cleaner thats unique and eye catching? We can't wear originals to work? What's the point of selling products we can't wear? We know the brand is sports oriented, but what about making our brand number one? Track pants are always difficult to sell MOSTLY because of how it fits to most customers. Majority of the time its too long. How about me make width and length sizes? You know what sells for the future? Kids. The selection in the children's department isn't that huge for back to school events, Christmas, ect. Lets have a better variety of choices for our kids. Women always complains to me about their selection of clothes and shoes. Telling me about why we always have the same pink, purple, and black color scheme. Once again, lets be open minded with our brand that is all that I am asking. There is actually a handful of advice that I would like to give to this company as being apart of this company.

    Pros

Direct superior gives lots of power and autonomy to run the business (same can't be said for other departments) and is all about pro-work life balance ( though, again not practiced company wide ) Have a great working team and the only reason why I still head to work everyday.

    Cons

Too process driven, losing business opportunities in the process. Too many chefs running the show, too many reporting lines. Lots of politicking between senior management. Matrix reporting structure which fuels the politicking and overtly power hungry individuals. Too much power and influence given to certain individuals and departments and because of their unscrupulous ways to create a mini fiefdom in the company, many a good employee has left or driven away.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Visit your stores. Speak with your frontline staff & middle management. Listen to what they have to say. Stop the games and power struggles.

    Pros

Great brand! It has a strong built in following that it can capitalize on

    Cons

Too focused on the rivalry with Under Armour and Nike and not on their products or people.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pros

Prior to October the company was ran as two separate companies. was better company both on Adidas side and Reebok side as the heritage and culture are totally different

    Cons

New leadership gives the facet they are about people but could care less about their people. favoritism shown to the small inter-circle around new leadership. the demotion of store managers and full time leaders has killed morale with the company and makes our job difficult
