    Pros

The company offers flexible work hours, allowing time off when needed for events and vacations along with school. As far as schooling goes, arvato offers reimbursement up to $2000 annually for taking classes that pertain to your job. They offer good health care, eye, and dental benefits along with matching up to 6% when putting money into your 401k. arvato also allows personalization of work area, making your desk a more friendly, and the dress policy is not very strict, only requiring that you wear long pants with no holes in them.

    Cons

arvato goes through phases every few months where they 'decide' that it is in the best interest of the company to rearrange management and in the process, most the people underneath management. On top of the confusion of who actual is your manager, the upper management doesn't seem to know what they are doing, and often are known to take vacations around the time when businesses that they are managing are supposed to be opening. The knowledgeable employees tend to be highly underpaid and tend to be overworked, often doing job duties other than their own. Upper management tends to look at numbers rather than quality of work or duties when rearranging the company and changes peoples duties to areas where they have little to no knowledge or are trying to get away from.

    Advice to Management

arvato's management needs to stop looking at numbers when rearranging the company and start talking to people about their duties. They need to lower the amount of program/project/account managers and get more working staff; having 3 managers for every employee is a backwards way to manage a company and adds not only to confusion but also frustration. Also, defining business rules and processes in advance, along with defining requirements for new processes would help everyone out.

    Pros

The benefits are amazing. Management really cares what you have to say and are always willing to work with you to fix the problem or find a better way of doing things. HR is always on their game, you can always expect a timely answer.

    Cons

Well like all big companies there is the whole bureaucracy thing, there are times when info is slow to move and of course some decisions are based solely on numbers and not including what happens in real life, but this is expected with a big company and i think the good out weighs the bad here

    Advice to Management

    Nothing really here to say.

    Pros

Excellent duty of care for the employee. arvato constantly looks for entrepreneurship and empowers people well. Benefits and career advancement opportunities are second to none.

    Cons

The desire and need to comply with client's requirements sometimes interferes with good employment practices. Because of the high demanding nature of its client base, arvato is sometimes micromanaged to a halt.

    Advice to Management

Internal changes shouldn't get in the way of selective partnering. Not all expansion is good expansion. Competition is tough in the BPO market but reputation loss is harder to reverse.

    Pros

    - work with Google products, tools, PC
    - perks (free snacks for the fastest people in canteen)
    - pension&health insurance (after completion of 6 months of probationary period)
    - quaterly bonus (max. 4% of salary) based on performance

    Cons

    - dilettante management (especially Operation Leads) who is constantly demotivating employees
    - non-transparent system of promotion (better jobs are for ''very close friends'' of TeamLeaders/Operations Lead only)
    - low salary and low bonus
    - more strict criteria for bonus (targets getting more difficult to reach, min. 98% of performace for getting a bonus)

    Advice to Management

    - TeamLeaders and Operarations Lead should be more properly selected and trained for their roles (soft-skills, product knowledge, competency etc.)
    - provide transparent and fair system of promotion
    - allow fair career opportunity for each employee based on his/her real skills, background, experience
    - better paid roles are available exclusively for ''close friends'' of management

    Pros

The management team does a good job in keeping its employees satisfied and they are always there to help. Useful if you wish to practice your communication skills.

    Cons

As a CSR the job can be extremely repetitive as well as tedious. I don't advise you to join arvato as a CSR if you are looking for a challenging career, but hey an 18k salary is the reason why.
