    Pros

I did not come across anything positive here

    Cons

too many restrictions.. they dont respect their employees :
    - they have security guards at the entrance who check everything in and out of your bags.
    - they do not allow employees to carry phone inside the office
    - too much politics
    - managers keep spying on your machines and may fire you for no reason..

    You will feel enslaved there...

    Advice to Management

    Get a life

    Pros

Team Leaders and Managers are good. Thinks lot about team members. Sometime spent from their own pocket to motivate their team members.

    Cons

People in management are there from decades or half decades and they think that decision made by them are right. They are not acceptable to change. Appraisal is very transparent means its pre-decided and pre-known to everybody. Their are only few people who gets good appraisal and rest gets penuts.

    Advice to Management

You need to do something seriously. Otherwise this old management will make the hole inside.

    Pros

This organisation pays really well. One of the few organisation which still provides cabs to its agents. Has some big names as the clients

    Cons

Key decisions are taken by one person and is not a collaborative effort. At times this leads to wrong decisions.
Very rigid in terms of changing with time.
    Data integrity rules are flouted
Less focused on the employee satisfaction

    Advice to Management

Take the open house forums seriously and act upon the feedback from the employees
Don't delay key decisions like AC cabs for employees as it leads to talent drain.
    Invest in employee satisfaction

    Pros

It's a job. Pleasant people to work with.

    Cons

Comparatively low salary. Lack of consistent managerial support and guidance. Working with people doing the same job for the same parent company you are providing support for who work shorter hours, and get paid more with better sickness and pension benefits. The offices are in an obscure part of the town which means unless you drive or live on the doorstep the job isn't really viable. The job is part of the 'flexi hours' system; which would mitigate the transport problem by allowing us to use the works bus, or leave in time for the public transport bus. However the company are very inflexible about flexi hours. Which means a journey which should take an hour often takes up to three. My bill for transport to and from work is £315 a month as twice a week I miss the last bus home by minutes, so I have to take a taxi which totals nearly £60! If I were able to use the works bus and public transport it would be only about £55 a month. The inflexibility of the flexible working hours should be pointed out at interview stage.

If at all possible try and get a job with the company Arvato are supplying workers for not Arvato. Their working conditions pay etc are almost always much better.

    Advice to Management

Provide properly monitored and supported consistent training. Be a litle more flexible about hours (which are supposedly flexible, but aren't) as not everyone drives and busses are horrendously out of sync with the Arvato working shifts.

    Pros

    - good as a first job
    - handy thing to put in your CV - arvato at Microsoft
    - great, fun co-workers
    - nice relaxed atmosphere
    - great canteen (but that's because it's MS canteen)
    - job itself is quite interesting

    Cons

    - annualized hours (you get time off when it's quiet to bank hours, and then work 12-13 hours a day with no extra compensation, including weekends sometimes)
    - long hours (like working 12-13 hours for 2 weeks straight in the busy periods)
    - terrible pay and no chance for pay increase
    - HR is horrible - you better keep track of your hours and pay, because "mistakes" (always in favour of employer) happen all the time
     - no parking for employees

    Advice to Management

    - start appreciating and rewarding people you have
    - instead of employing masses of ramp staff, use the staff you have better
