    I worked at dELiA*s part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

great discount off the clothes, jeans that fit everyone, you had to wear casual clothes and nothing fancy,

    Cons

The upper management of the company was a fail. That's obvious since they went bankrupt and close all their stores in early 2015. They were never consistent and their expectation were way too high:

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees with respect and be sure to give them comparable positions. Also, don't say you would like to fill a position and when you find someone, revoke it.

    Pros

Nice and friendly workers at each store (I transferred because of personal location changes). Great awards and you are continusly reminded of your great efforts and contributions to the store. Flexibility is great and you also get a sense of comfort with your manager.

    Cons

Like any retail job there are mandatory late nights, and customers can be very high maintence in the store, but it does not take away from the dy to day activity of selling.
