drugstore.com Pharmacy Assistant in Bridgeport, NJ:   (Past Employee - 2006)

1 of 1 people found this helpful

Pros

The overall working environment is decent. My supervisor was a very nice women, and always made me feel like a good employee. However, I do not think this was a universal approach by all of the other supervisors (but it we did have a revolving door of supervisors.). I always felt proud to do my job, but that is because pharmacy work greatly interested me and it is what I am currently majoring in. Other employees did not share my enthusiasm and it showed in their work.

Cons

The feeling that the company is just a heartless organization, there is no one reaching out making employees feel needed/welcome.

Advice to Senior Management

Improve micromanagement skills.

drugstore.com Production in Swedesboro, NJ:   (Current Employee)

Pros

There are no good reasons to work for drugstore.com unless you are desperate and want a $10.00 hour job. There are other warehouses in the area that start off at more than that! Go there, not to drugstore.com..

Cons

No Communication between management/supervisors and the production employees! No Union! There are NO Incentives to make anyone want to do a good job there! You don't get paid for holidays, which should be double-time. However at drugstore.com you just get 8 hours to go into your Time-Off Bank!! There is alot of Mandatory Overtime!

Advice to Senior Management

You need to get a Union. It's just as simple as that..
