    Pros

    Very innovative product that is really needed and wanted by customers. Excitement of seeing a company grow from the inside. Exciting to see new products from an overall perspective, not just a small part of a product. Good to win designs against bigger companies

    Cons

    A lot of work and hours spent on a multitude of tasks. Startups can be tough to get a good work life balance

    Advice to Management

    Keep communicating about strategy, progress and tactics. The level of communication to all employees is very important. Always make sure that the employees can associate their tasks to the strategic direction. The management is doing a good job of this but needs to be watchful that it continues

    Pros

    It is hard to come up with these in hindsight. You'll get training in everything you should not do in biz & mktg

    Cons

    Total group think on all important decisions Team never meets with customers No account planning Not strategy Married to every decision Unprepared Crazy goals BOD has great importance

    Advice to Management

    Take money from Governments and Automotive sectors. They are the #1 place where you have every advantage. It's not about volume, it's about solutions and how to sell a solution via a partnership. The #1 customer in the world is the US Gov't, ignoring them is akin to a criminal neglect Every major successful company has managed to get real business in order to achieve their long term goals by working with the government, but you are tone deaf to these facts

    Pros

    Can't think of many. Some good hardworking people.

    Cons

    Ad hoc environment lack of accountability causing delayed projects. Extremely disconnected management. Most employees are overworked and under appreciated. Too many promises and hype to recruit talent that does not follow through.

    Advice to Management

    Board needs to get new top management.

    Pros

    Has survived in a market where many others have failed with some fortuitous successes, some great engineers & reasonable technology.

    Cons

    Not a strong enough value proposition to build a long term truly successful business Narrow market focus & customer base Extremely reactive approach, little pro-activeness and limited GTM Strategy Unrealistic business outlook driving unrealistic goals Inexperienced exec management with zero accountability Short term needs of company always highest priority leading to questionable decision making

    Pros

    - competitive technology and opportunities to improve your skills (at least for the first 2 years... after that same thing as the big companies: doing repetitive work);

    Cons

    - U don't really know how the company is moving sites and might endup loosing your job over-night;
