eBay is a fantastic brand. Employees are extremely smart. It is an exceptional place to discover ecommerce and the Internet industry.
Cons
It is a very slow moving organization. It's not growing, and therefore the opportunities for promotions are limited. Management is short termist and afraid to be bold.
Advice to Senior Management
Be bolder, take risks, invest in innovation, don't only play defense, hire more star engineers, invest on longer term initiatives.
