    Pros

Good place to begin your career, engaging coworkers, benefits are excellent

    Cons

Company is too large to remain private. No opportunity to move up the ranks as TEAM Leads are spread too thin to see the bigger picture h

    Advice to Management

Although the Customer Service Department is capable of dealing with service levels and clients, their hands are tied because the Customer Service provided by engineers assigned to cases lack explanation, accountability and follow-through. The same holds true for some SAMS, PM's and TL's. Until the root causes for substandard service on the infrastructure level is heavily revamped, ecw will not be leading the way in Customer satisfaction levels. A culture exists where passing the buck is acceptable. This kind of system will hurt the company. Focus on raising customer service levels to US standards. Focus less on call metrics and more on the REAL issues.

    Pros

Good team leads, good scope for freshers to learn and grow, paid time offs, good chances to get your spouse or relatives into the company, very friendly hr department and immigration specialists.

    Cons

The value for roles could be better, better designation structure, good number of Asians and could expect SOME or little politics. Could also expect shouts from few superiors.

    Pros

    1. Coworkers are "like family" and "actually family" 2. Excellent healthcare benefits 3. Opportunity to work remotely 4. Flexibility to jump from position to position 5. Good place to be a white male American. Better than being in India if you're Indian.

    Cons

    1. Ever worked with family? Pay is cheap and drama is high. Don't expect American business culture here. 2. Continuining education is not incentivized. Talent and hardwork are not rewarded and most young promising employees (that aren't locked in by green card sponsorship) leave in ~3 years for greener pastures. 3. Communication is so disjointed. Remote work carries a high risk of job dissatisfaction. 4. Employees can try different positions, but vertical growth is very limited. The horizontal management model is a joke especially with such rapid expansion. 5. Meh if you're a female of any race.

    Advice to Management

If you want to keep your talented young (American) employees, offer a more competitive salary.

    Pros

    Health benefits , 401 K

    Cons

Lot of politics and favoritism. You are allowed to fall sick for 3 days only in a year. During severe weather conditions like snow storm you are forced to take time off of your vacation days if you cannot make it to office. Lot of pressure on you to perform. Product is not as great as they claim it to be. Lots of issues and complaints from clients. Clients treat you very badly for absolutely no mistake of yours! No opportunity to grow and learn new things. You will be stuck with the same kind of job for years and the job gets monotonous. Lot of micro management from the leads. Salary is not enough. The Company CEO claims they make millions but the employees hardly get anything. You have to mostly Live paycheck to paycheck! Don't expect Work life balance! Not a great place to work!

    Advice to Management

Increase Salary and be more flexible with employees and treat them well. Try to retain your experienced employees! I am sure that will take the company far ahead!

    Pros

Chilled out, good hours, not much politics, everyone is friendly

    Cons

After few years you stop learning, no personal growth, company does not give you any responsibility, very low pay and no raises when they promote you. 60% are non Americans, wish it was more diverse.

    Advice to Management

Stop the flat structure and give employees responsibility. Stop lying to your clients and selling six sigma processes and lean methodology when you don't even have proper internal ops. Take your company public for the sake of your employees and let them enjoy share price gains. It costs the company nothing! Stop lying to the media as if your cash bonus is anything to talk about - a $12000 bonus a year is a joke for a company growing 40-50% a year for well educated masters graduates from top schools. Please retain your employees.

    Cons

Very pathetic working environment . Rude team lead .

    Advice to Management

You are nice to people when you hire them and during exit you say pickup your stuff and leave. Team leads are rude and they do not care about you. Please cut the politics and family relations in the company . CEOs are very promising and could do wonders to ECW.

    Pros

Most employees care about their clients and are willing to go beyond the call of duty to get the job done. Most employees work in teams and will work together to try and provide excellent customer service. The work life balance seems to be good in most cases.

    Cons

You get little opportunity to learn out side of your job function, a lot of office politics, as another reviewer mentioned, no formal internal processes and extreme nepotism. Please note the extreme nepotism as the employees that are moved to new positions or promoted are directly related to another non American team member or one of the Indian owners. Few Americans are ever offered any advancement, career growth or job change. Many non Americans are allowed to stay in the company even when after years of poor customer service skills both internally and externally. Its a joke that the company is trying to sell Six Sigma services to sell better process improvement when the internal work processes are in a state of disarray or worse and there is no real effort to correct these flaws.

    Advice to Management

Its a wonderful place to work if you are not looking for anything. It's not when you work very hard trying to get ahead but in the end another non American gets the advancement or is acknowledge (taking credit) for another employees work successes so they can hit their numbers for a larger bonus while tossing the American employee under the bus. The turn over of the foreign employee's has hurt the company as the remaining company employees are getting treated like garbage by the clients these days. Please offer competitive salaries to keep the key/skilled employees.
