I have been working at eDynamic full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Solely responsible to recruiting all positions for nationally

    Cons

Diverse full-life cycle recruiting for position up to C-level in both corporate and staffing agency environments spanning early stage start-ups to Fortune 500 companies in High-Tech across various functional organizations in Sales, IT, and R&D.

Former Employee - Contractor in New York, NY

I worked at eDynamic as a contractor (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Exposure to a group of high-profile clients with a wide variety of projects. The company places significant responsibility on individuals to deliver during client engagements.

    Cons

    1. No operational infrastructure--telephones do not work, internet goes down continuously, no accounting system
    2. No project infrastructure--no process, no governance models, no time tracking, inconsistent project management
    3. No career path--no education or investment in people, poor working facilities
    4. No commitment to the customer--focused on 'closing the deal', then hope the project is delivered, customers typically only execute one project and then leave
    5. Unsustainable business models--50% annual employee attrition rate, 80% customer attrition rate, low-ball projects with no margin

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    1. Work for another business--gain experience from others and see how a business should be run
    2. Understand the business that you are in--work with the developers to understand their challenges and struggles
    3. Forget about 'closing the deal', focus on keeping the customer--good work begets more customers without constant business development activities--they will be standing in line to work with you
    4. Focus on the employees--make your company "the one" that everyone wants to work for

I worked at eDynamic full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

There are good clients with big names, but little else to keep employees in NYC or clients anywhere long term.

    Cons

Leadership does not treat employees with respect. This is especially true for women who are not treated as equal and never stay long as result. There is tremendous turnover and an inability to keep employees. Micromanagement rules in the NY office along with the expectation that you will work overtime to accommodate imposed changes and demands. There are good clients however the company functions by over-charging and under-delivering. There is no understanding of process or how to deliver good work, in a timely fashion and keep clients. Lastly, the office conditions in NYC are miserable- noisy and uncomfortable. Client visits are discouraged, and employees will often work from home to avoid coming in. The NY office is a mere shell front for this Indian-owned and operated company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Leadership should turn the reins over to someone who knows how to run a company, manage people, and grow a client base.

I have been working at eDynamic full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The best thing about working for edynamic for me is the structure of the business model. It's pretty cool to work for a company that's constantly doing something new and creative.

It's really fast-paced and there's always plenty to do.

The managers are very down to earth and super easy to talk to. I have worked at places that were anything but this!

The people are absolutely amazing: smart, energized, and they all get along. There is no drama, and it's a very collaborative atmosphere.

    Cons

Hard work and total immersion expected - slackers, dont bother applying. Things change quickly - have to be agile. It's growing fast, so change is constant. Keeps you on your toes

It's a growing company. And where there's growth there's growing pains. Structural, monetary, etc. I feel like there's been pretty good transparency about any internal struggles, though, which is nice.

    Pros

None at all. This is a place where you would expirience Hell and you will have to pay through your nose to get out of here.

    Cons

Company takes freshers for granted, treats them as bonded labour.

The Company asks to fill an atrocious BOND for all freshers, do not join in any condition.

Salary pay out is erratic and HR is run by a bunch of hooligans.
CEO is an overambitious guy,in his absence people in senior managemnt call him immature, has no vision and future sight, major showoff.
Food and staff amenities are of 3rd world standard.

Job roles are not defined, extended working hours,
people in senior roles enjoy autocracy,
High Attrition in senior roles, so projects run without heads.

In all this is a company you would join only if you have no other option and your wish is to die.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

To the CEO: sell this comapny off to someone who can better run it. This is not your forte.
Hope you still enjoy your coffee from Barista!

Current Employee - Systems Analyst in Gurgaon, Haryana (India)

I have been working at eDynamic full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

-Pay good salaries (but what's the point! you have to beg in front of these guys to credit your salary in your salary account!)
    - Recruitment process is fast.

    Cons

-Join this company if you want to be harassed!
    -No defined KRAs/KPIs.
-Salaries get delayed by so many days and no one in the accounts, admin or HR department knows when the salaries would be credited to employees' accounts. And when you try to reach out to the concerned people, they are elusive and you would find their phones switched off!
-Payments to all the vendors are delayed by 3-4 months! (eg. cab vendors etc.)
-No timely payments whatsoever! Legit reimbursements are rejected or delayed; incentives/bonus etc. are delayed by a year or so!
    -Highly demotivating work environment.
-Poor communication between different departments because of which things get delayed.
-No resolution is provided for any kind of grievance one is facing.
-Management is weak and no one takes responsibility of anything!
    -Team handling is very poor.
    -False promises by the management.
-No focus on employees' learning, development and trainings!
-Almost all the good resources have already left this company or have resigned already as nobody wants to stay in this godforsaken company!
    -No programs for employee welfare.
-Work culture is such that people don't even respond/reply to your mails.
    -No work-life balance.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Go take a hike; you can't run a company! Try and maintain at least the basic work hygiene!
