I have been working at eGlobalTech full-time for more than a year

    Pros

-Great working environment with personable fun people, who get along and work well together
-Work is acknowledged and fairly compensated when quality is delivered (I was promoted in a year's time)
-Never a dull moment, always something new to learn with options to explore other areas of the company
-OFFICE DOG (at headquarters). Yup, you heard that right...we have a service dog at the office that the company is sponsoring for Veterans Moving Forward (they provide disabled veterans guide dogs).
-Fun outside of work events: happy hours, color run and other charity walks/runs, food drives, bowling competition, picnics, company also participates in city sports leagues (e.g. softball)
-Other perks: discounted gym membership for all of Gold's Gyms in the DMV area, annual gala, and quarterly raffle competitions for gift cards, golfing, spas, wineries, movies, etc.

    Cons

-Free or discounted parking not provided
-With an increase in projects/awards, sometimes bandwidth is stretched out thin while support is sought out
-Occasional overtime and work on weekends: (not a con if you're able to apply this well, I find it to be a positive challenge considering personal interest in my line of work)

Not a good place to work

    I worked at eGlobalTech full-time

    Pros

They hire great people and in the past they have won work. If you work on Government site and you can avoid proposal duty, its not a bad gig. I don't have anything else positive to say.

    Cons

CEO and COO poor leaders. huge turnover, particularly among senior mgmt and home staff. Integrity is a major issue. They do not rotate staff and rarely promote. You will be in your first job there for the foreseeable future. If that is ok with you, and you are on government site, then this might be an good opportunity. eGlobaltech's run is over. They are no more an 8a small business. They have no ability to retain their current work and they will not win new work. Management is incapable of dealing with this.

Questions to ask before you take a job. 1) What is the tenure of the sr mgmt team. Ask people you interview and meet with how long they have been there. 2) will you be expected to work on proposals (RUN). 3) when is the contract they are recruiting you for up? they will not win the recompete. 4) ask to speak to the person you are replacing specifically and ask them why they left.

I have been working at eGlobalTech

    Pros

    -Great client work experience
    -Solid pay
    -Great leadership

    Cons

-Raises minimal year-to-year; bonuses obtained only if you do proposal work

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Great client experiences, but need to focus on building a stronger team culture. Continue to bring in former Big 4 employees--they are bringing the work to another level. Continue to advance strong performers quickly. Focus on your interview/new hire/onboarding process--it is very disorganized and may scare off top performers. Continue to allow project PMs flexibility in how they run their teams. Great job~great outlook for this company.

I have been working at eGlobalTech full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The relationships and collaboration between senior leadership and project teams really developed over the past 2 years. People genuinely enjoy working together. The people are also very smart here and have innovative ideas - which allows everyone to learn and grow together. The work is interesting and everyone is given an equal opportunity to take on more responsibility and get promoted through the ranks.

    Cons

Corporate infrastructure (collaboration, knowledge sharing tools, etc) are good and are expanding - but needs additional development). At times recruiting takes longer than expected to place qualified candidates - which results in additional work for people already on board.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Maintain the direction you are taking, with a focus on employees and clients, and the company will continue to be a success.

    Pros

Smart, fun people. Emphasis is on client satisfaction. Contributing to corporate growth is rewarded. Headquarters office is very nice, and everyone on the leadership team is highly accessible. Managers care about their people. Expectations are high which is a good thing - I am learning a lot and growing my career here.

    Cons

More opportunities to interact with individuals on projects doing similar work would be great.

I have been working at eGlobalTech full-time

    Pros

There is very much a team spirit at eGlobalTech. Everyone is willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done. Also, the senior executives are very good about showing their appreciation for your hard work.

    Cons

Because this is a fast paced environment, there are some people who cannot keep up and unfortunately, their work falls on other people.

    Pros

Solid working team and they've moved into nicer headquarters than where they previously were. Ballston is a good location when there are meetings there.

    Cons

Management is not upfront with their employees. They make a big deal about having a "bench," but they really don't. Basically, keep one eye on the exit.
