Good Learning Experience

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

I have been working at ePrize full-time

ProsSome really intelligent people who care about what the company and clients

ConsSalary, bonus structure, vacation and sick time is rolled into one, managers need to be informed of what is truly going on behind the scenes.

Advice to Senior ManagementCare about your employees more. Don't think that everyone is disposable. Be more honest about the future of the company and goals.

ePrize is now helloworld (lipstick on a pig..)

Senior Producer (Former Employee)
Pleasant Ridge, MI

I worked at ePrize full-time for more than 5 years

ProsIf you did just graduate, and are looking for some experience for your resume, this place is perfect. You'll learn a lot, get paid fairly well (unless you figure out that dividing your salary by the hours you work comes out to less than minimum wage) and you'll meet some great people. Do not stay longer than a year. The energy is very cyclical due to the high turnover which gives a false sense of renewal/change.

ConsThis employer has a very high employee turnover rate. The management team is young, and in many cases has only worked at this place. Outside of those walls they would be titled as supervisors. They are perfect candidates to support the work harder approach. They've put in the hours and drank the kool-aid.

Because they lack experience, they have no idea that the kool-aid is actually a bucket of crap.

Advice to Senior ManagementYour plug and play approach for your employee model is why you make so many mistakes. Your inexperienced management teams, full of communication grads, aren’t talented enough to support this approach. You have the blind leading the blind.

I have been working at ePrize full-time for less than a year

ProsGreat employees, very smart and driven. Great management that wants to see you succeed. Great perks, good pay, cool promotions and great clients. Ability to work from home if needed.

ConsLots of hours, always have to be checking your iPhone. You are held fully accountable for any issues or negative experiences from a client.

Advice to Senior ManagementYou're doing a great job! There have been a lot of changes and some nice acquisitions recently so I'm looking forward to see how the company handles it all and continues to grow.

Not for the seasoned professional

Analyst (Former Employee)
Pleasant Ridge, MI

I worked at ePrize full-time for less than a year

Prosyou will get lots of recognition for a job well done

Consyou won't get paid enough to work as hard as you do
stressful work environment - not everyone truly takes accountability for their work and the overall workflow suffers and trickles down to everyone
poor project management - too many tasks sourced to very few resources. people get burnt out and quality of work suffers
very young environment - in essence it is like high school. lots of gossip and unprofessionalism
you are thrown into the line of fire when you first start. very little to no training. if you aren't comfortable with taking serious initiative, asking questions, and dealing with difficult employees, you will not make it very far at all.

Advice to Senior Managementfocus more on the inner workings of the company rather then acquisitions and increasing client base.

enforce professionalism, standardize processes across all divisions (there really should be no division) - everyone under the same job title should all follow same standards and procedures.

above all, take the time to train your employees. build the proper documentation to help train new employees and assist existing ones.

improve project management - make it easy for everyone to quickly pick up where someone else left off.

A great place to be

Account Manager (Current Employee)

I have been working at ePrize full-time for more than a year

ProsIncredibly knowledgeable employees, very friendly environment, clear career path, encourages thinking and creating ideas, access to upper management. People are passionate and genuinely care about the business and well-being of others. Management understands where the industry is headed and adjusts as a result.

Because it's a sales-driven company, there are no mass layoffs because you don't 'lose' an account and have to fire everyone on that account.

ConsSales-driven organization so work comes in cycles, sometimes tough working with co workers in different time zones
