I have been working at eRepublik Labs full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Great environment and co-workers, beautiful office with gym and Irish pub, no overtime, very competitive pay and they have passion for videogames!

    Cons

Try to make your own games, not do a copy of games of the competence ( like Gameloft), and should focus your vision of the project and listen the opinion of workers of the company

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

they should try to invest more time on R&D and preproduction of the projects...because it will help them to find easily future problems on production phase

    I worked at eRepublik Labs

    Pros

The Madrid office is very nice and well located, also the team is great.
I'd recommend the company only for very junior persons that need to make a bit of experience in the industry and have no other opportunities, with the mention to always look for something better.

    Cons

Unfortunately there is a long list:
Currently the company has some issues (the project they developed in Madrid hasn't reached the expected results after two years of development so they laid off people, cut off English classes and other benefits.
Even if the COO pretends to be experienced, the products development stages are not following classic steps (competition benchmarks, adding innovation factors, there is no GDD etc.). Also he is not defending the product in front of CEO and he never really knows to estimate technical tasks.
Both COO and CEO think they are experts in marketing so that no person in that department resists more than 6-8 months.
The same they are ''very good'' game designers so if you are not acting as they say you're free to go (the results about how good they are can be seen in the very low retention the project they did have).

I worked at eRepublik Labs full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The Bucharest office is very nice and well located, it has all the facilities that you might need in order to do your work well, the team leaders are open-minded and if you do your job well you can get the chance to lead a team yourself. Best of all are the people who are part of the Erepublik team.

    Cons

I believe that there are not enough training programs and that could also use more social benefits for the employees.

    - employees being forced to take a day or two off from their paid vacation days if they can't/don't want to attend a team building

I have been working at eRepublik Labs full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

eRepublik Labs is the type of company in which every type of employee can add value to the company and to himself in the same type.
Employees are connected to the results, they can directly influence the results, the management includes them in the decision process.
It's a company in which creativity is stimulated, it has relaxation areas, the group is young and very friendly.

    Cons

It's not quite a con, because of its profile, it's quite hard to have a very long term strategy for it's product, because the gaming market it's moving very fast.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep up the current behavior!

I have been working at eRepublik Labs part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

It's up to you deceide how much time you want to put on it, the more you spend there the better you become.
Alot of focus on communication which is good

    Cons

    To much gold focus
Not putting enough focus on having a clean and fair game (AP develope/bugs)
    Really bad customer service

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Start priority Customer Service, there are some in the Customer Service that doesn't read the questions asked and just gives a random pre-def reply.
    Give all citizens the same options, including none customers example;
    Namechange
    Multi-accounts
    Organizations
    etc

Put some resources on develope the AP to fix it's bugs and to make it actually work.

Put more work on the Moderators in your team, there are some who's been by your side for years and are trustable even with more tools. You can allways monitoring these tools.
