    Pros

Small company so you end up getting more exposure to different areas of the sec lending business. Good place to start off and get experience.

    Cons

Low pay, no bonus. I've seen a lot of good employees walk out the door. Huge division between executives and the rest of the company.

    Advice to Management

Be transparent and recognize the good workers you have before they're gone.

    Pros

Worked in IT and everybody was cooperative, willing to answer questions and dedicated to the project I was on.

    Cons

Expectations for extending the contract were not met, given 1 week notice when project phase was over.

    Advice to Management

Let consultants know the estimated time frame or length of the engagement up front

    Pros

None, except for a few people that work there.

    Cons

No 401k match, no bonus, pays way below market salary. If you're not in the upper management click you'll never get promoted.

    Advice to Management

Nothing, because there's nothing they can do

It was a small company with great colleagues. The company felt like a start-up....everyone working towards same goal.

    Cons

Did not have much insight into what upper management was doing.

    Pros

A very exciting place to work when the company first came out of the gates with a new and high value add approach that was unique in the industry. Good compensation, benefits average at best. Good work-life balance for some positions with work from home arrangements.

    Cons

As company grew over the years, culture and mission became muddled. Lots of infighting among management and constant rumors among the rank and file. Performance reviews seem to only become important if they are looking to get rid of you.

    Advice to Management

Stick with what you do best and do it better than anyone else. Be honest with yourselves about the company's strengths and weaknesses. and leverage the strengths that truly differentiate eSecLending

    Pros

Small company, you can get things done. Most people were helpful. eSecLending was accommodating if I had an emergency or doctor's appointment

    Cons

I would say 60% of management had an attitude problem. Management wouldn't be friendly/talk to non-management unless it was a technical question

    Advice to Management

Non management personal are human beings just like you
