    Pros

Some very talented people at the mid-management level.

    Cons

Very bad executive team. They often fire underlings to cover for their own mistakes. Very long work hours. Way too much favoritism. Very political and hostile work environment. It has been trying to go public for 15 years without success. Board of Directors is unwilling to make the needed changes.

    Advice to Management

    Replace the executive team ASAP!

    Pros

Pays well. Mostly friendly people. Benefits were good, and if your spouse already has benefits, then you can take cash in lieu of medical/dental benefits which is very nice.

    Cons

Don't be fooled by receiving many stock options. These are only good if they go public, and they have been trying to reach that point for 14 years.

    Pros

They do very good work on a technical level. Pay is actually OK.

    Cons

Poisonous office culture. Works people to the bone. Cost cutting mentality. Out of touch executives.

Plus, the industry is moving against them. As the number of startup semi's decreases, the pool of potential customers decrease.

    Pros

Bright talented teams. The people and great collaborations were the core of the success we had over difficult projects and customer's dead lines. Really enjoyed and embraced the old corporate cultures, values and teams. Time-off policies are somewhat dependent on what project or which customer you are working on - my boss is good about making sure we get the deserved breaks.

    Cons

-Heavy politics getting in the way...
-Missing thought-out career advancement program to retain valuable employees.
    -Limited opportunities for advancement.
    -Training programs not exist.

    Pros

Pay is average to slightly above average.

    Cons

Management is highly political. Staff turnover is excessive. The company is extremely top heavy and very political. CEO seems disinterested. Much work is being moved to Vietnam and Singapore.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to think about not only getting the numbers right but also easing some of the toxic environment that has developed through waves of layoffs.

    Pros

Its a small company with lots of friendly folks. You get a feeling of being in a close knit family when you initially join. Everybody is friendly and can even except to get some short conversations with executives. Beverages are free but maybe not for long. There used to be friday luncheons where people tell their life stories but that is gone now.

    Cons

Management does not care about the small people. There is a feeling of being replaced or fired all the time. High turnover. Toxic environment. Too much politics.

    Advice to Management

Management should learn to treat their employees with respect and appreciation.

    Pros

Free drinks. Cheap snacks. Everyone is really nice. Casual work environment. You can learn a lot as a lower level employee. Easy to get to-it's right off of the freeway.

    Cons

Pay is a little lower than my last job. They also recently discontinued having free lunches on Fridays. Boooooooo!

    Advice to Management

    Keep having the Friday lunches!
