    Pros

The people that work there, and own/manage the business are all wonderful people. Good benefits, obtainable goals, you know what's expected of you.

    Cons

Glass ceiling, some micromanagers, petty inner-office politics in the sales team.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Change people, not policy. Remember the things that made your company wonderful to work for when you first started. You can still have that, but you gotta ease up on the reigns and policy changes. Happy employees are productive employees.

    Pros

When I worked for EBquickstart in 2012 it seemed like a great opportunity to continue to improve certain sales skills, for good pay and great hours.

Found out the only good thing working for the company was the relationships with those who sat around you.

    Cons

Lack of communication from direct supervisor, no skill building toward sales instead it's setting appointments for other companies to make their pitch, 100-200 cold calls a day is the norm and worse is the company hands out management titles mostly VPs that are undeserved, which was showcased by the lack of leadership in the organizations and it starts from the top in Mr. Edwards.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Innovate, get with the times, teach your employees valuable skills that will go throughout their time in sales

    Pros

There is room for growth at EBQ, and they provide an excellent training ground for sales and marketing. The way promotions are made are directly correlated to merit and hard work. If you are not a "do the bare minimum employee" you will excel here at EBQ. I started as a Lead Generation Specialist, and through hard work and performance I climbed to a Senior Lead Generation position, and then to an Inside Sales Specialist Position in around 18 months!! Everyone is very positive, creating a friendly family environment. The management team is willing to work with any one of their employees to help them succeed in their goals.

    Cons

There are some growing pains associated with any start up company, such as policy changes and some turn over.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep moving in the same direction

    Pros

The work ethic is phenomenally high in every department. There is a deep sense of pride attributed to all the services provided, as well as to the employees who contribute. Mature sensibilities can understand that its not nepotism, but an understanding that in all jobs, we are all in this together.

    Cons

It's difficult to watch any company go through growing pains; transitioning employees, while having some exit, and welcoming the new.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Trust that the foundation management is sound, that processes are understood, so you can allow for individuality to be expressed throughout the company with a greater sense of transparency.

    Pros

Great opportunities to move up, a positive and progressive work environment, challenging work keeps employees sharp, innovative in comparison to other business development organizations. The management really cares about the success of their employees. They offer lunch periodically. The culture is great with very friendly and happy employees. Very good Hours.

    Cons

Little to no decor on the walls. The building is old and could use some work. Policy changes occur often.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep up the good work!!!

    Pros

I loved my co workers and that the schedule was 9-5 if you weren't in management.

    Cons

CEO seems to have an issue with women in authority. If you look at anyone in management from mangers, directors, VP, CFO, etc they are all males. They only got the Austin American Statesman Top Work Places award because they hounded the employees everyday to make sure they took the survey. The cubicles are high so it makes it impossible to find anyone. CEO likes to move people around every 2-4 weeks so you were never in the same cubicle or office for more than one month, so don't even think about hanging anything or putting things on your desk because you'll have to move it all in two weeks. As I mentioned before, the CEO has problems with women in authority. If you have an opinion don't even think about expressing it because you'll get demoted from whatever position you're in.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

He needs to stop micro managing all of his people in management and let them do their job.

    Pros

Strong work ethic from the people who work there.

    Cons

Most of the people in leadership position are too young, inexperienced to be VP or SVP. Some of them are highly underqualified to be in managerial positions. They talk and dress big, but don't have the expertise. Working conditions are not very ideal: cold, stale rooms.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to hire more experienced, older managers and supervisors. You would be better served to have work reviews with your managers, with surveys filled out by the people under them. Some of them are flat out incompetent and overbearing.
