Excellent specialty niche market insurance company. Market leader with an excellent database of information.

Great atmosphere for a small company if you really to like lay back and continue at a leisurely pace, are content with the status quo, and are not looking for major changes or advancement in your career.

Majority of employees get along great with each other, and care for each others' well being.

Compensation and benefits are fairly decent for the kind of work and type of company.

Not a great place to work if you question the status quo or ask how, what, and why, does it really make business sense?

Top management is too dependent on a few personalities, and of doing things in new ways using latest methods of doing business. Slow to adapt to change, though the business is changing very fast.
Customer service sucks, have to watch your back, with one person always going into your personal stuff over petty stuff.

Advice to Senior Management

Being trustworthy, most management are quite often misled with incorrect information upon which they make business decisions since they don't know any better, putting everyone at risk.

Need to reduce dependency on people who they think to be loyal and so expect them to do a 'great' job, and instead open up to new ideas and feedback from those that consistently do a 'good' job.

Remove the practice of openly saying - it's the thought that matters!
