    Great innovative spirit

    Software Engineer (Current Employee)
    Budapest (Hungary)

ProsGreat spirit of continuous self-improvement and innovation. Senior employees have state of the art knowledge of their fields and are willing to share.
Lower management also contributes to this atmosphere.

ConsSalaries are ok, but due to useage of Hay, special fields are not appritiated enough.
Not so many career opportunities for managers due to Lean structure.

Advice to Senior ManagementSpecial areas need special attention. You cannot categorize everyone in your company as a software engineer.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Great enviroment with low salaries

    Software Engineer (Former Employee)
    Budapest (Hungary)

ProsThe office is nice and the people there are well-qualified professionals (well, not all of them...). The fringe benefits are very good. It is a good place to start your profession.

ConsLow salaries, sometimes the working was overstricted and there were too many meetings instead of real work.

Advice to Senior ManagementPlease reconsider the salaries! Otherwise, the talented and experienced staff will leave the company

    Professional environment, low salaries

    Software Developer (Former Employee)
    Budapest (Hungary)

ProsUsed to be a nice place, where one could learn from many talented engineers.

ConsIt's one of the worst paying software companies in Hungary. Good for starters, but after gathering some experience rather move along.

Advice to Senior ManagementNitpicking on tiny things like travel costs may save you some pennies, but in the longer term the experienced staff will leave the company (if they haven't already).

    Nice people but too bureocratic

    .NET/C++ Intern (Current Employee)
    Szeged, Csongrád (Hungary)

ProsGood work-life balance, good cafeteria system, mostly nice managers

ConsSometimes boring, too many and too strict rules, does not allow enough individuality

Used to be great, now on the way down and accelerating

    Senior Software Engineer (Current Employee)
    Budapest (Hungary)

ProsGood compensation package (for now), looks good on CV (because of the Siemens connection), reasonable middle-level management, flexible working hours, lots of trainings. OK location, nice offices.

ConsMany hopelessly legacy projects, a new contract that's severely biased towards the employer, trying to save money on unreasonably small, but annoying things. On the way to become a faceless, gray multinational company. Awful servilism towards Siemens where (bad) technical decisions are allowed to be made by Siemens, but the responsibility lies at Evosoft.
German colleagues are usually under-qualified but in the position of making decisions instead of the well-qualified employees of Evosoft. A huge amount of time is spent on fighting the unreasonable and useless requirements instead of focusing on the actual product.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop alienating your employees with untrusting decisions, pay the exceptional employees exceptionally (or they will leave). And you will have a bunch of average employees. That's game over for a technology company. Don't try to save money on petty things (they save virtually nothing but decrease morale very quickly).
