    Pros

    - Great work environment, collaboration and respect are not just in the core value statement. Really they are applied in daily routine.
    - Communication at all levels. Horizontal style of communication.

    Cons

    - Some bureaucracy, produced by regulations of the child welfare system.

    Advice to Management

    - try to connect the different divisions, for example with more integrated projects.

    Pros

Good place to work if you care about working with under privileged youth. Its almost not a job at all, its like hanging out with children and making their lives better. You are given training to handle difficult situations when they arise. Overall, the benefits outweigh the compensation. Great second job.

    Cons

Upper management most times do not support staff when those difficult situations dealing with the children. Expect to be found guilty of any action taken with the youth. Although, this did not happen to me. I have seen this happen with other staff members. Moreover, your colleagues will always try to get into your business and sometimes not take work seriously. Don't associate with those people. And expect to work long-long hours.

    Advice to Management

Strict rules need to be upheld when it comes to the youth. Without structure and consequence the youth will always be a problem to staff who work directly with them. And staff must be supported for the program to run smoothly.

    Pros

I love working with the SED/PWDD children assigned to me. If you love direct service to families and need a flexible work schedule, Waiver Service Provision may be for you.

    Cons

However, this provision requires a lot of planning and paperwork for which one is not adequately compensated. Doing this work from home may not be for you. Families may cancel appointments due to illness, vacation, or other issues beyond one's control; a certain number of hours per week cannot be guaranteed. Also, Graham-Windham does not reimburse for expenses quickly.

I have been working at graham-windham part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

This is a good company to work for if your passion is to help special needs children and their family.
It can be a good job if you get enough STEADY cases.

    Cons

It's an on call job. You can work everyday for one week and the next week you dont work at all.
