    Manager (Current Employee) Boston, MA

    ProsExcellent training programs.

    Good onsite opportunities.

ConsGreat growth when lower in the organization. Flatens out when you reach seniority or mid manager status. Growth driven more by your association or relationship with your superiors.

Worst practitioners in the tech industry

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsIn the US they have a very nicely priced healthcare plan

ConsThey are contractors but they do not look after the best interest of the company that contracted them. What they look after is how to increase their revenue and will sacrifice work efficiency at the expense of the client. The so-called professionals that they field from outside of the US are sub par at best. Quality of work is consistently sub standard. Offshore resources are mostly new graduates and are learning on the job at the expense of the client. As a professional for many years, it was an embarassment to be associated with this company.

Advice to Senior ManagementReview your projects much more closely. Do not simply rely on the paperwork that you are given. Conduct impromptu on-site audits.

    Experience in iGate

Software Engineer (Current Employee) Milford, MI

ProsWhat I would say, iGate Panti is a great international company in the US. It offers a very high pertage of H1B amount among US foreign working applicant.
It gives its employee 10 days vacation/yearly,flexible office hour and 5 sick leavs, which is also great.

ConsI give it 4 star instead of 5 because it doesn't give option for its employee to get its stock, that's a big downside in my view.

Worst Company to join in the US on a Visa

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsThe Finance Dept is relatively prompt in clearing your funds like reimbursement.

ConsIf you are on H1 Visa and want to join iGate for a permanent position in the US, please DO NOT do it. Once your project (for which you were recruited) is over, you will be dumped.
