If you are a good performer, you will find many opportunities to succeed in your career
Average years of experience is 8-12 years for most of the mid/senior managers, so great progression and association with the company

Cons – One needs to find their niche
requires lot of self-initiatives

Global experience.

Cons – Pay is horrible outside of India.
Culture shock.
Hard to communicate.
Revenue centric.
HR can't seem to figure out the different rules here in the US. Be prepared to answer who your father is and other odd questions during hiring.

Cons – Underpaid. Never felt like I was working for a team.

Pros – The company provides many opportunities and the pay is reasonable. Management has been fairly accommodating of employee situation and behave accordingly.

Cons – The contracts that the company gets into, typically are lopsided and usually projects require consultants to put in more than whats in scope.

Advice to Senior Management – Phaneesh has been leading the company beautifully as evidenced by the 3 fold increase in stock price and the acquisition of Patni

Cons – low base salary and the component they add doesn't always work

Pros – - Good quality of resources (atleast when I was there) compared to other offshore companies
- Agressive and less political

Cons – - Senior management was not focused and confused
- Did very little to translate investment in capabilities to make it saleable
- Bonus used to be fair but with new sales head it took a nose dive and became very intransparent

Advice to Senior Management – Make sure you get rid of your current sales head, he is driving away business and talent from the company

Pros – Good place for people out of college or FOBs coming on-site. Decent benefits and PTOs. Fairly young crowd. fairly decent internal training portal for new comers.

Cons – Revenues almost flat for the last several years. Inspite of this, upper management gets tens of thousands of stock options and the employees get a few hundred at most.

Advice to Senior Management – Management should stop blaming the market conditions everytime for their individual failures. The promotions/stock options process should be more transparent.
