Pros – For the outside world, it seems all good. But honestly, it is rotting inside. Only good thing about this place is that they pay on time. On the last working day of every month, you have some cash in the bank. No matter how little it is.

Cons – Not a place if you want to break the mould.

good longterm onsite opportunities,
if you take initiatives, you will get lot of opportunities to grow.
best in class medical benefits for US onshore employees.

Cons – Non-existent mid level management.
Poor retention from 2+ yrs at offshore,
No long term career planning for high performing employees.
Policy of phasing out people once employment bond completes to replace "high cost" employees with low cost freshers.
Poor HR policies
Pathetic salaries (worst in class)

Advice to Senior Management – You can not compete on cost alone over a longer term.
If you do not retain "best employees" someone else will make good use of them.
Don't compromise on quality for cost.
Micro-management means there is a limit to how much you can scale up.

Pros – At first, I joined as a Patni employee, later on it was acquired by iGATE.
The work culture differed a lot between the two, the management structure underwent a change.
Overall it was a good experience working for the company

Cons – The pay seems to be very steady, the increment was minimal

Pros – No late sitting. No weekend work pressure. Seniors are very helpful. Good office campus. You can attend various training on any technology if it is not part of your project.

Cons – I have not faced any bad situation till now.

Pros – Very good training, excellent seniors. Good work life balance but quality of work depends on the project you are assigned to.

Cons – Allocation of project depends on luck. Need to be lucky to be trained and allocated to project in the same domain.

Advice to Senior Management – Please ensure that you make better use of employees. Keep perks and increments higher to retain and motivate staff in a better way.
