    Pros

Lots of nice benefits, including an on-site company bar! And just received a $30 million infusion of venture capital.

    Cons

Not profitable just yet, so not completely secure footing. Still in start-up phase.

    Advice to Management

Continue building and developing your own talent pool before looking to the outside.

I worked at iSIGHT full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

iSIGHT Partners is a good stepping stone before you get into the industry. They have a lot of good people around the world that are great to meet. They have an offices in Chantilly, Dallas, and Amsterdam. Some of the people there take really good care of their people. Though the pay is not the highest, there are many good things to learn from here. The culture is fun, lots of free drinks, a pub, a foozball table. If you are an exceptional worker, you might be able to take a trip to one of their remote offices. They have an internship program that is useful. Many people often end up getting hired because they require low pay.

    Cons

Management is in shambles. They breed an environment of egotistical people since that is what most of management is like. People will take credit for work you did even when you do not know about it. If you are not invited to a party (and there are many parties), that is how the CEO shows that you are being punished. People often get drunk in the pub, that is if they stay after work hours now. There was a major culture shift that left many people burnt out and they leave the office very early. This used to be different when people would work late into the evenings because they enjoyed it. Most of the middle level managers have very little experience managing. They are formerly exceptional technical workers that were promoted either because people quit or from a restructure. They are great people just not managers.

    Advice to Management

You currently have a very high level manager that is a complete backstabber. He tells you how great you are in person but behind your back he will lie consistently. It is very obvious if he does not like you. He has made some very poor decisions that are leading the direction of the company downhill. If you do not relieve this person, after repeated recommendations to relieve them, many people will quit very soon. I recommend that you do not make the company only about being sold, it creates a poor work environment where people burn out very fast. You need to figure out how to stop restructuring every six months. Do not threaten to sue people for leaving and going to a different company since not every company is a competitor.

    Pros

Security is an excellent industry sector to work in. If the company can overcome its many management and technical problems then it stands a chance of succeeding.

    Cons

This company has a long history of poor leadership and product oversight. It also suffers from poor technical and professional standards and low morale. It's IT middle management is toxic. The economics of the company are also shaky and it should be considered a high risk.

    Advice to Management

Hire leaders who enable true accountability and transparency. Perform serious assessment of the management abilities of people in IT middle management.

I have been working at iSIGHT as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

Its a great place to work at. Close knit group of people always helping each other out. Trainings are conducted regularly for certifications , languages , and things as trivial as how to make an effective presentation. They also have a bar at work.

    Cons

It is a relatively small company and needs more publicity to get the product out there. Sometimes the work can get monotonous.
