I have been working at incapsulate full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Working remote 100% of the time with flexible hours. - Room to grow in my position as a recruiter, and obtain certifications with bonus incentives. - Having the ability to determine which roles are the best to work. - Ample time to network. - Unlimited PTO. - LinkedIn Premium account.

    Cons

    - Teamwork plays a big role in this company, so sometimes having to pick up admin tasks are necessary, but when you have a small team and it only involves a fraction of your day, it is expected. - Some of the work can be slow paced, but that's what networking is for.

    Advice to Management

    - Continue to reward employees for hard work and help them follow through with goals. - Communication is key!

I worked at incapsulate full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Everyone is encouraged to learn by stepping outside their comfort zone. There are lots of opportunities to learn and expand your skills.

    Cons

This is not an environment for a person not willing to pull their weight. You must be able to be a self starter and be able to run with a task once assigned.

    Advice to Management

It would be nice to see some regular updates from the executive team, maybe try sending a monthly email.

I worked at incapsulate full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Flexible working environment - Ability to work autonomously - Growth potential

    Cons

    - I wish there was less "noise" so that I could be more heads down some days, but at the same time, that's to be expected when working directly with employees and their individual needs.

    Advice to Management

    - Continue to hire good talent, foster healthy working relationships and reward people for their hard work.

I have been working at incapsulate full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very challenging work environment with highly qualified co-workers. Many opportunities to use and grow your professional capabilities while putting your current abilities to their fullest starting day-1.

    Cons

With high rewards come high expectations. Not a company for people interested in resting on your laurels. It is expected you're coming with a high ability with minimal "hand holding". Expect to work hard.

    Advice to Management

    Communicate better.

I have been working at incapsulate full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The company is growing, with enthusiastic people, offers flexible work arrangements and a very good benefits package. The company has offices in several cities but people also work from other locations where there is no established office. With flex-time and flex-place people are connected with a variety of on-line tools.

    Cons

I have worked in large organizations and looked forward to a small company atmosphere and found it. I think I and many others here self selected to work in a place that informal and people are self motivated. For me that works great. If you need a formal large corporate structure - this would not be it.

    Advice to Management

Keep recruiting talented people that care about delivering and managing great software and driven by the passion of the clients. We are on a good course.

    I worked at incapsulate full-time

    Pros

Some very talented and dedicated people working there. Great work-at-home opportunities. Excellent potential to be involved in newer technology.

    Cons

Poorly managed projects. Little or no guidance about expectations. Promise the clients the moon and set unreasonable expectations for the beginning of a project. Unwilling to hold the client to their end of the responsibilities then are surprised when things run late despite the fact that the client is extremely late with their deliverables. Employees are given vague requirements, ignore those employees when clarification is requested, then become upset when the final product doesn't met expectations that weren't articulated in the first place. When an employee then wants to discuss issues with how the situation was handled, senior HR and management become suddenly unavailable. Reporting structure is ambiguous as well. Who do I report to as an employee? Couldn't tell you.

    Advice to Management

Even as a small company, there need to be some guidelines and structures. Employees need to understand what's expected of them. Nobody is expecting a detailed roadmap of how to accomplish a project/task, but they do expect guidance about what the outcome should be.

I worked at incapsulate full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There are a few positives to working here that include working remotely, and being able to do different things. The problem is, nothing is defined and you do those additional things because you have no help.

    Cons

The company is a mess. You can't simply do a job. You're expected to do 3 jobs and all the hours that accompany it. The reporting structure is awful and management just wants to use and abuse employees. I would not suggest anyone works here.

    Advice to Management

Stop writing fake reviews on glassdoor, and start running your company better. All the quality employees leave.

    Pros

Good technology used, interesting projects, small company offering good opportunities to grow, good relationship with management who is reachable, good outlook

    Cons

More team building would be nice, job requires a lot of extra hours, unlimited PTO is only virtual, recent increase of bureaucracy
