    I have been working at macys.com full-time

    Pros

A visionary company. There's room for growth between cross functional teams/brands. They are accomodating to work/life/religious balance and needs. Macy's is BIG on giving back to the community. HR team is amazing and supportive of your career and future. It's a stable job with overall good benefits.

    Cons

There are too many "cooks in the kitchen." Not enough flexibility to be creative.

    I worked at macys.com full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

This place was great and everyone was so nice. The work was easy but of course you were always busy. You have to stay on your feet but other than that it was great.

    Cons

Once new management took over it became clear I had to leave. I felt like the store was being run into the ground.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to your employees. They are the ones who know what is selling and what isn't and why because they are who speak directly with the consumers.

    Pros

Fun place to work at you get Macy's discount plus gratis from whatever counter you work at in cosmetics. You get 3% commission from everything that you sell.

    Cons

Hours and working weekends are a downside. Also Macy's puts so much pressure on opening credits. Standing on your feet for 8 hours

    Advice to Management

If you expect more then pay us more. Also please staff more people so that girls from cosmetics don't have to go close registers in the shoes department

Pay does not compensate amount of work stress and pressure that is pushed down on us as sales managers.
