Pros – IIT talent is really good

Pros – No micro management in most cases

Cons – Lack of processes. Understaffed. High workload. Some directors are incapable. They don't do any work themselves and use their resources to get all their work and don't give any credit to them as well.

Advice to Senior Management – please carefully review the performance of the directors, specially those who have been in the company for more than 5 years and fire the inefficient ones

Cons – Rampant micromanagement of project directors and analysts

Advice to Senior Management – If a particular manager has frequent turnover of staff - maybe the issue is with the manager.

Pros – Recruitments from best institutes - IIT, IIM. Intellectual colleagues, Hard working environment, Go-getter attitude amongst majority of the folks across all levels.

Cons – Since the acquisition by Cognizant Technology (CTSH), the "body shopping" culture has permeated. Ex-Senior Management of marketRx has taken a back-seat and is busy counting their payout $$$. Some folks are in senior positions simply due to nepotism and should be fired ASAP!

Advice to Senior Management – Pick up your act - ensure that this is still the great place it used to be - all is not lost - yet!
Continue like this and it soon will be (as soon as the economy improves!).

Cons – pay scale is uneven, no real progressive ladder, lack of professionalism

Pros – I can think of none

Cons – They go to some bschool campuses like IIM-L,IMT,MDI, etc... MBA grads are hired as senior associate wr they are expected to do highly technical work(SQL, etc). No client interaction..Management is clueless about their roles... Also, MBA degree is of no value..you'll find people with 4 yrs work ex as your manager and you may have 2-4 yrs work ex before your MBA and still have to wait for another 3 yrs because now Cognizant has taken over, the employee strength has gone up and the quality and no of projects has gone down..There is extreme dissatisfaction at each level...They have many in-house tools on which employees are supposed to work, none of these tools hold any value in any other company. DO NOT JOIN this company, especially if you are an MBA grad.

Cons – Management style can become rigid and overbearing at times - thought not always
Will find yourself doing lots of overtime without pay
