I have been working at trustaff (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Trustaff turns good recruiters into great recruiters with their state-of-the-art electronics, top administrative support and great leadership.

    Cons

It is tough to leave the office when you can make money so easily after-hours with all the electronic recruiting tools

    Advice to Management

Keep up the rewards like impromptu whole office trips to The Cincinnati Reds Games, Pizza Trucks, Ice Cream, etc.,

    Pros

If you have a pulse, you can get hired here.

    Cons

Management has a tendency of cussing and yelling across the floor at recruiters.

I worked at trustaff full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The hourly rate of pay is decent and the office was very neat and clean. Opportunity for internal advancement.

    Cons

Absolutely no structure, favoritism is shown to certain employees, and the training is horrible.

    Advice to Management

Treat employees equally, better train new employees, and don't make promises that cannot be kept. And don't make promises that cannot be kept

I worked at trustaff full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Some friendly people work there. It would be nice to be able to socialize with them a bit more. Occasional give aways.

    Cons

"Training" is a joke - sloppy, uninformative, spends entirely too much time on the wrong areas. You'll feel persecuted to ask a question, even if others want the same clarification. It's obvious to see why there's so much turnover. No one feels adequately prepared to do their job. Negative people with bad attitudes and conniving ways are prized, even if they're not pulling in more money. Plenty of back stabbing going on. Management doesn't care as long as calls are adequate. Quantity is king. No emphasis on or appreciation for quality. The "turn and burn" mindset runs rampant internally and externally. Loads of excuses from management. To succeed here: be cutthroat, don't invest additional effort, follow the status quo.

    Advice to Management

Develop actual training. Read your company reviews. This experience is not singular. Get your head out of your ego and you'll grow as fast as you actually want to.

I worked at trustaff full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Food trucks in the summer. Monthly activities although it doesn't try to get people together from different departments.

    Cons

Communication is very poor. Too many managers and not a single leader. Nepotism. Too much gossip and negativity in the office. No management training. Little to no opportunities to advance. Very strict environment with no talking or socializing to get to know coworkers. No accountability. Poor training for the job.

    Advice to Management

Management should quit trying to be so strict and controlling. They also need to talk to employees with respect. Let people do their work. Too many meetings for everything without getting any answers. Need better on the job training.

    Pros

Lots of added bonuses, like monthly donuts, game room, casual Fridays, free coffee, Mr. Softee visits, company parties and competitions, lots of opportunities to win sports tickets. Laid back work enviroment.

    Cons

Communication across departments could stand some improvement.

    Advice to Management

Better communication would benefit the entire company.

I have been working at trustaff full-time

    Pros

Working for trustaff is rarely boring. There is a lot of energy, especially with the office set up in an open desk system. This makes talking to my supervisor (or a neighboring friend) very easy, without interrupting my work much at all. The time-off policy is great, as they award you with PTO multiple times a year. When I need a quick break to clear my mind, the ping pong table in the rec room is usually the answer. Atmosphere around the office is getting even better as Blue Ash renovates the park across the street and food trucks visit our office park for lunch.

    Cons

The 401K program is okay, but I wish the company matched in the first year, and I didn't have to be here a full year before they began to kick into my 401K.

    Advice to Management

Try to be a little more open about company goals, direction, challenges, etc. Maybe have semi-annual companywide meetings.

I worked at trustaff full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Nice, modern corporate office (can be noisy due to low cube walls), some very nice people, an OK benefits package.

    Cons

Micromanagement is the norm at this company. They seem to care only about the number of phone calls being made each day with no regard for the quality of those calls. Counting phone calls seems to be the high point of the day for management. Expectations are often unrealistic and unattainable.

    Advice to Management

Put people in middle management positions who are equipped to handle the stress professionally and calmly. A middle manager (what you call a Director) who is easily intimidated by upper management can do more harm than good. Better managers might help to reduce your high turnover rate.
