    I worked at vitromex usa full-time

    Pros

    Early dismissal on Fridays; customer service staff and non-management people are very nice

    Cons

    Management changes strategy direction like the wind changes direction; management thinks it's best to rule by fear and keep people in the dark about what is happening with the company; male managers are highly unprofessional and make derogatory comments about women; if you aren't Mexican or a male (or both), good luck advancing at this place; female managers are treated very poorly and often let go for no reason; finance has more staff than any department and but only one person actually did anything

    Advice to Management

    What good would it do to give them advice? They would never listen, just like they haven't listened to any of the staff in years

    Pros

    Can't think of any. Entire organization is clueless about the U.S. market. Stop hiring Mexicans and hire an Italian to run the plant and Americans to work in the the US office.

    Cons

    Everything. No product availability, marketing doesn't understand domestic market. No direction from management. Terrible pay and benefits are horrible at best.

    Advice to Management

    Clean house and start over

    Pros

    Leave early on Fridays. Half a day.

    Cons

    Upper Management is able to speak broken English, but prefers to speak in Spanish, even though more than half of employees in the office, don't speak or understand it. Some of the customers that purchase products from Vitromex try to tell you how to do your job, but if you tell them this is how it is going to be, they usually pipe down. It is too bad that even the customers have no respect for this company and without customers, you have nothing..Good luck Vitromex.

    Advice to Management

    There needs to be some sort of sexual harrassment education, administered by HR, to get the point across to this company, this sort of behavior is not acceptable in any workplace and is should not be tolerated.
