Robert Hohman – Co-Founder, CEO
Robert Hohman is co-founder and chief executive officer of Glassdoor and member of the company's board of directors. Before creating Glassdoor, Bob was most recently president of Hotwire, a leading discount travel site and division of Expedia, Inc. Bob was one of the original team members of Expedia, and was part of the executive team that took it public in 1999. During his Expedia tenure, Bob also served as president of Classic Custom Vacations and executive vice president of Cruise & Packages for Expedia North America. In Expedia's early stage, Bob led the engineering team that built the cruise, hotel, and package booking systems. Bob started his career at Microsoft and worked as a software developer in a range of areas from Windows 95 to interactive television to online games. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in computer science from Stanford University.
Tim Besse – SVP & Chief Marketing Officer
Tim Besse is co-founder, senior vice president and chief marketing officer of Glassdoor. Previously, Tim was the director of product management and online marketing the Asia Pacific division of Expedia. In this role, Tim developed new markets in Australia, Japan, and China, and assumed general management responsibility of the Hotels.com business in Asia. In other Expedia roles Tim helped launch other early stage businesses, including Expedia's telesales and private label businesses as well as its online luxury offering, Classic Custom Vacations. Tim holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.
Ryan Aylward – SVP of Engineering & Chief Technology Officer
Ryan Aylward is the senior vice president of engineering and chief technology officer of Glassdoor, who brings more than 10 years' experience in the software development field. Previously, Ryan was the senior director of engineering at EzRez Software where he led the development organization responsible for supporting more than 50 travel Web sites. Prior to EzRez, Ryan spent more than five years with Hotwire, where his duties involved both management and development roles, including building the original Web site. Ryan also served as an engineer at Motorola. Ryan holds a B.A. in computer science from the University of Notre Dame.
Diarmuid Russell – SVP & General Manager of Partner Services
Diarmuid Russell is senior vice president and general manager of partner services of Glassdoor. Diarmuid is responsible for the development and delivery of advertising products that meet the needs of Glassdoor's customers. Diarmuid is an experienced digital media executive with more than ten years' experience in consumer internet businesses in Europe, Australia and the U.S. Most recently he was responsible for the consumer division of GlobalEnglish, a leading English-language SaaS business. He has also held commercial and strategy roles at Expedia, BBC Worldwide and Lonely Planet. Diarmuid holds an MA in Economics from the University of St. Andrews and an MBA from INSEAD.
Tim Anderson – VP of Product Management
Tim Anderson is the vice president of product management of Glassdoor. Previously, Tim led product monetization efforts at Flickr and served as a senior member of the Yahoo! Photos product team. Prior to Yahoo!, Tim spent four years as a management consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton. Tim holds a B.A. in Environmental Science and an MBA from the University of Virginia.
Scott Sinatra – SVP of Sales
Scott Sinatra is the senior vice president of sales at Glassdoor. He is responsible for turning social data into effective and measurable recruitment and employment branding strategies.
Prior to Glassdoor, Sinatra served as area director with BMC Software where he was responsible for all BMC field sales and operations in the Northwest region of the United States. Before his tenure at BMC, Sinatra served as regional director in the Great Lakes U.S. region at Bladelogic. Earlier in Sinatra's career, he held various positions at Moser IT Consulting, Datalink and Parametric Technology Corporation. Sinatra continues to establish and maintain high impact technology-driven solutions on behalf of his clients and his company, while also developing and managing high-performing talented professionals. Sinatra earned his bachelor's degree in Marketing from Indiana University.
Steve Roop – VP of Marketing
Steve Roop is the vice president of marketing at Glassdoor and is responsible for promoting Glassdoor's social recruiting solutions to the HR & recruiting community. Before joining Glassdoor, Steve was VP of Marketing at AppDynamics and built a freemium marketing engine that enabled the company to achieve 5× growth and category leadership. Prior to AppDynamics, Steve held executive positions at Vontu (acquired by Symantec), PeopleSoft and Accenture. Steve received a B.S. in Commerce and Finance from Santa Clara University.
Jim Buttimer – VP of Business Development
Before joining Glassdoor, Jim was the CEO of CareerTV where he led and grew the company from site launch in 2007 until it was sold in April 2009. Prior to CareerTV, Jim held several roles at WetFeet including Vice President and General Manager where he helped build the online and print career research business for job seekers until the sale of the company at the end of 2006. Jim has also worked as a management consultant for Mercer Management Consulting and financial analyst for Bank of America. Jim holds a B.A. in Economics and Public Policy Studies from Duke University and an MBA from Cornell University's Johnson School.
Scott Hauswirth – VP of Business Development
Scott Hauswirth is vice president of business development at Glassdoor where he works to maximize the distribution of Glassdoor's job listings and content across a host of online platforms and social networks. With deep business development experience in the online career industry, Scott previously managed distribution and partnerships for Yahoo! HotJobs (now owned by Monster), SEEK in Australia and New Zealand, and WetFeet. Scott received his J.D. from University of California, Hastings College of the Law and his B.A. in Political Economy from University of California, Berkeley.
Bill Herrick – VP of Finance
Bill Herrick is vice president of finance of Glassdoor and holds more than 20 years of financial and strategic business management experience. Most recently, Bill served as worldwide corporate controller at NComputing, Inc., which develops and delivers products and technology that make network computing affordable to schools, third world, and BRIC countries. Prior to that, he held several financial management positions at BroadVision, Keynote Systems, Zenith Electronics and United Airlines. He holds a B.A. in Business Economics from Brown University and an MBA degree from Northwestern's Kellogg Graduate School of Management. In addition, Bill is a licensed CPA in California and Illinois.
Allyson Willoughby – General Counsel & SVP of People
Allyson Willoughby is senior vice president of people and general counsel, leading both Glassdoor's human resources and legal departments. Willoughby was previously senior vice president and general counsel of RockYou, a leader in social gaming and advertising, where she was responsible for all aspects of the company's legal needs. Prior, Willoughby was Chief Justice (aka general counsel) of Method Products, a multi-national company that is a leading manufacturer of environmentally friendly, design-oriented household products. Willoughby started her in-house career at eBay. In her last year with eBay, Allyson was the director of legal affairs for eBay subsidiary StubHub. She received her J.D. from University of California, Hastings College of the Law and dual degrees in Economics and Sociology from Stanford University.
